Used parts available for 1st Gens

Recommended Posts

The one I need has two parts a outer disc that contacts with the pads which is connected by rivets to the inner disc that bolts to the wheel. The earlier models had a one piece design. Why they screwed that up I will never understand. Thanks for looking I could sure use the part.

Your right the one I have is a one piece 1984.

I am also looking for a lock for the side saddle bags on my 1989. The pin in the folding mechanism broke. It is the removable top type of the later first gens. I think any one of the hinged locks would work from either side and I can then change out the tumblers for mine.

I have a couple of good locks from a slightly damaged saddle bag. $10.00 each plus $5.00 shipping. Let me know if you're interested.

I'm trying to restore the air suspension to working order on my 84 VR. Unfortunately the "genus":smilies6: that owned it before me cut the line supplying air to the forks. I don't suppose you would have a replacement?

Bob

Yes I do would you like it? Do you also need the fork air valves?

Just to make sure, or clarify, that he has the one(s) that you need. Is it the one between the fork tubes, the one from the fork tube to the connection by the steering neck, or the longer one from the compressor to the steering neck connector. As there is 3 lines on a VR in that air circuit.

I am guessing that the po cut the tube to connector line, because he didn't know about the connector behind the left inner fairing & was pulling the triple tree off, for some reason.

icon1.gif Parts from 83 xvz1200 still for sale.

I had to shut down my used parts offer when I took my recent trip to Sturgis and out west.:7_6_3[1]: But, Now I'm back and I'm finished with the Mattcharva's bike rebuild project so now the parts store is back open.

:dancefool::banana::cool10::banana::cool10:

There are many, many good parts left and I need to wrap this project up as well . I need to move these babies and clear out the over flow of parts that run from my work area through the sunroom art studio into the house and on to the kitchen table. Most every thing has been disassmbled from the bike down to the engine and frame. Still have all the plastic body parts and most of the systems and electrical components.:bluesbrother:

So, if your still looking for some parts please reply on this post and I will answer with availability and condition of part and price of part plus shipping cost. mo%20money.gifplus:2cents:

Please do not respond by private message. That didn't work to well last time. Going back and forth between the thread and private messages kept me confused and clogged up private messages boxes. bang%20head.gif:doh::confused24::doh:bang%20head.gif

So step right up and tell me what you need, remember a lot of the parts are interchangable withe the XVZ1300 and later year model. If in doubt I can verify if it will work on your bike with my multi year Yamaha Parts program. :thumbsup2:

It's all for a good cause, mine and Venturerider.org's. I am doing this for a few bucks but I'm not greedy and willing to share so I'm trying to offer these parts at a very reasonable cost and at the end of the day I'm gonna tally up what I've sold through this site a donate 10% off that amount to Venturerider.org and donate any remaining useable parts to the venture parts stash on the site. :thumbsup2:

I need the plastic part that surrounds the CB and air suspension system. Now, that's the upper (or outside) plate that you see looking at with everything installed in the right side of fairing.

Well, that was clear as mud. Try this. With all components installed, the top black plastic plate that the CB and CLASS faces stick out of, that's the part I need. Wheew!

The one from the fork tube to the connection by the steering neck, I believe is the one that I need although I am not sure where it ties into the fork tubes. They still hold air if added manually thou valve next to key.

Bob, if that isi the one ys I would like to get it from ya. let me know $, and how to get them to you.

Yes I have the tube that goes from the front forks to the connection Union at the steering neck and the complete union connection with the line all the way to the air compressor.

For just the front tube $5 or $10 for the whole thing plus $5 for shipping. If you want it you can pay thru paypal to charlesgraham4867@comcast.net

Ever find that bracket yet? Trunk mounting base, '86
Sorry, I got involved working on issues with my bike and forgot. Yes I do have one but it does need some welding repairs but is very fixable, right side verticle mount where back end of right side grab bar attaches is broken off at the hole. the horizontal flat tabs off the side at mid range both sides are cracked and need a short weld fix. If you interested how about $20.00 plus $10.00 shipping.
