Anyone tried to fit Truck-Lite 4.5..

Recommended Posts

Has anyone tried to fit the Truck-Lite 4.5 LED lamps in the stock passing lamp buckets on a 2nd gen? I am talking about the ones that match their Phase 7 headlamp units? I just need to know if they fit in the buckets. Thanks.:confused24:

Here is a link to the ones I am looking at.

The standard bulb size is PAR36. It looks close to what these are. Not sure on depth.

This is a setup I am looking at. Should drown out the headlight. Although they are a little expensive. Hit the 'Data Sheet' link on the right side of the page for more info. 900 lumens each.

Did I miss it? Don't see where it mentions price or lumens :confused24:

The first one is more of a flood light so would probably offend other drivers while the second one is the same one I am asking about. PHASE 7 is made by Truck-Lite. Looks like it is a 280 lumens. GE Par 36 are 300lmns for the 13w sealed beam units.

Something to take into consideration with LED lights is if they cause interference with your radio.. Earlier units caused a lot of interference, while the ones I got from Customdynamics do not.. expensive but at least they work well.. solid!

Best of luck, looking forward to see if these work out for you.

Cheers

Well, I ordered them today :mo money:. This will be the last purchase for a while as I have been :mo money:like crazy on the bike in the past few months. Will let you know how they fit once I have them on.

This is what they are and where I got them. Not cheap but best price I found so far.
