XBMCbuntu???

Silvr, I would suggest a simple test on your system:

 

Use the hardware switch to turn off the wifi, if used, then hook up a wired cat5 cable to your router.

 

 

 

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't use wifi on that particular box.

Yup, the good ones do: http://www.geforce.com/drivers

 

Or one can write their own drivers, which is not nearly as complicated as it may sound...
