Been looking at quotes. Here are a few from Eleanor Roosevelt that I like:

"Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart"

Eleanor Roosevelt

"Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, but beautiful old people are works of art. "

Eleanor Roosevelt

For Mini, YamaMama, Annie, and the rest of us LADIES. :innocent-emoticon:

"Well behaved women rarely make history"

Eleanor Roosevelt :whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling:

Thanks Ramona, I am not good at quotes, but I like the ones you have.

How is this one, You may meet many who say they are your friend, but you will find the BEST friends are those you have met who ride on 2 or 3 wheels.

It is not very good, but I guess it makes sense.

Thanks FFFFFF

The Serenity Prayer is a favorite......

GOD grant me the serenity

To accept the things I cannot change

Courage to change the things I can

And the wisdom to know the difference.

------------------------------------------------------------

And an interesting one by Albert Einstein, which is quite relevant today.....

The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil,

But by those who watch them, without doing anything.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

And the creed spoken for our soldiers and veterans since WW 1.....

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,

"We Will Remember Them"

LEST WE FORGET

Git 'er done!

Keep it cool...but keep it!

Hold my beer and watch this...

And finally, one of many memorable quotes from Winston Churchill.....

In 1946, in reply to Bessie Braddock, a plump Labour MP and Tory-hater, who told him: "Winston, you are drunk." He said

Madam, you are ugly, and I will be sober in the morning."

you are not here merely to make a living. You are in order to enable the world to live more amply with greater vision with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand. Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924)
