close call

On my way home last night I hit a deer.........Glad I was riding the tour Deventure.... Never went down.... Cracked the right side lower and the passing lamps and bruised up my right leg.... But no cuts or road rash......... WOW what a night.... Went out today and bought lottery tickets....

Some food for thought...how fast were you going? How big was the deer? Did you have time to brake?

I haven't worked a deer crash with a motorcycle...looking for some insight.

really happy to hear you walked (drove?) away. here in rural NC there are many deer and i am on a constant lookout for them. Jim i'm glad you're OK !!

We had our RSV 3 whole days when we hit one last year and didn't go down either! Glad you are OK!!!

Glad you're okay. Can you give us a little feed back for those of us who live in high deer populated areas i.e., did you have time to brake, speed, side impact or T-boned the deer in the middle, etc.

I was just doing 35mph (speed limit) Really..... next thing I knew I was face to face and made eye contact..........Was dark and I have lots of lights but it quartered me from the right so I didnt see it

Glad your ok. Those deer are very unpredictable... What time was it? Evenings right before sunset is a bad time to ride around here....

I seem to be working on fattening them up. Everything I plant in my yard is fodder...
