fouled plugs

a couple of the plugs are black and smell of fuel,bigtime this means she running rich,right?How do you lean it out a bit?1987 1300cc What do yall recommend?

Put new correct plugs in there, as soon as you can after that get up to Ruffys house and get the carbs synched up. Sounds like the pilots need adjusted, too. As before, pull the side covers off the carbs, get rid of those screws and replace them with allen head screws, and check your diaphrams for holes. Might want to get a manual from your local stealer to help you with this.

You may even need to rebuild those carbs, too. Float might be sticking, passages plugged up, etc. Read up in the tech library about carbs.

A good start point for the screws is all the way in, then back out 2-1/2 turns (carefully!)
