star4772 Posted May 24, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2008 Has anyone bought the speed bleders you can get on E-bay and tried them out and do they work? Joe
friesman Posted May 24, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 24, 2008 I have a speed bleeder that I bought for my clutch but I havnt had a chance to put it in yet. I bought it a while back when I was having clutch trouble cause the issues were caused by a clutch needing bleeding, or the fact the synth oil in my bike was causeing the slipping. I changed the oil and no more slipping, so the speed bleeder hasnt been a priority. Brian:cool10:
Dano Posted May 24, 2008 Share #3 Posted May 24, 2008 I'll let you know at the end of the weekend, got 6 of them to replace all my standard bleeders. Tore the bike down and it's put together time, so I should be bleeding all my lines this weekend.

Marcarl Posted May 24, 2008 Share #5 Posted May 24, 2008 From what I've read here so far, it's the only way to go. I personally don't have the need, but for a lot of guys, it's the cat's meow.
WilCruise Posted May 24, 2008 Share #6 Posted May 24, 2008 Don't know about ones on ebay, but if they're the same as the ones you can get from J&P they're really great. I've used them on my first gen which it a PITA to bleed up front and they made it much easier.
