My granny used to lower her milk and butter down her well before she got electricity. Orta work for beer.... (yeah, I know, you was just joking, but seriously, we are planning to put in a well soon. As the price of everything keeps going up, we can at least cut down on the cost of watering the garden and animals by putting in a well and using a well bucket instead of electric pump.)
