venture royale 84 cdi problem

looking for a good working cdi for my VR 84 or tips of how to repair mine cylinder n 4 front right stop firing ! coils and sparkplugs and pickup coils and the loom are ok

Before you get too carried away spending money try this first. Pull apart all your plugs to the ignition system and clean all the contacts. I had the same situatuation and picked up a programable ignition unit. As I Started swapping them out I noticed the green tarnish on all my pins. I cleaned all with contact cleaner and tiny brass brushes and put it back together. The bike never ran so good. The new part never got installed and that was 4 years ago and its still running strong. I keep the new unit handy just in case but so far all has been running fantastically.
