Tallest fiiting rear tire size on 1st gen Venture

Recommended Posts

There is probably very little variation on tire size as far as width versus height ratio unlike car tires. The problem with a 1st gen, and probably all, is that you can not just put a bigger tire on the bike because the tire is so close to the driveshaft housing to begin with.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Simply I want the rear of the bike to be a little higher to scrape less.

Well I own both a 1985 and a 1988.

The 1988 seems a little bit lower than the 1985.

I have yet to mess witht the suspension. I plan to mount new tires and then ride it and mess with it as I start riding it.

If there is an issue with the air suspension. Is there a way to have the rear at the max setting permanently?

"Messing" with the suspension on a Royale is as simple as pushing a button.

If you select the maximum (HIGH) setting on the CLASS, it should remain at that setting "permanently". (Provided there are no leaks).
