N3FOL Posted October 5, 2019 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2019 Took 15 minutes to take off the wheel. Took it to the shop to mount new tire then reinstalled. Got close to 17K on the Bridgestones. Rear already has the 777 and I am satisfied. Ride Safe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rafterd Posted October 5, 2019 Share #2 Posted October 5, 2019 I got the 777 HD for front and rear. Haven’t put then on yet, but I have them on my Harley and love them.

I 2nd that. These tires really do hug the road. I already have 10k miles on my rear and looks like I can put another 5K to 7K. ... to see.

djh3 Posted October 13, 2019 Share #6 Posted October 13, 2019 I just peeled a 777 of the back of my Victory tour. I think the miez were just under 6k. Mostly around town, one 12-1500 mile trip. For money wasnt bad. I went back with a Continental Conti-tour. Last Conti I had got me almost 10k. But they are more $$

djh3 Posted October 14, 2019 Share #8 Posted October 14, 2019 I had a few more miles left in it. It was 3/32 which is close to wear bar. I left for a 7 day trip to mountains so wanted to make sure had good tires for trip. Man was I glad Sunday when we rode in rain from Madison Ga to the NC boarder. jeromeb Posted October 15, 2019 Share #9 Posted October 15, 2019 My 2009 Venture had the 777's on it when I bought it. So I have no basis for comparison. After a year of riding, I have had no problems and the bike performs well. I would purchase another pair with no reservations.
N3FOL Posted October 16, 2019 Author Share #10 Posted October 16, 2019 I really think that the 777s will really be a good fit for all make and model. Glad to hear you have a similar experience. Heimdog Posted October 16, 2019 Share #11 Posted October 16, 2019 FWIW: my son just put these Shinkos on his 05 RSTD. He loves them, says they really hug the road. I know others who have used them. I'm leaning toward Dunlop E3 or E4s when I replace but will definitely have to consider Shinkos.
