I miss the torque of my 86 for sure. Once I learned the throttle position/engine sound combo I could lift the front wheel while rolling in first and second. I also broke a drive shaft LOL.

Geez! That didn't end well I'm sure. Those bare legs were probably even more bare afterwards!

This is exactly why I fell in love with the Ventures early on. I was able to pull the front wheel in 3rd and then I got to ride one for a summer while a friend was deployed. I took a hiatus after having kids as my wife was scared of an accident. Once the youngest was a senior I immediately when looking for one. bought the Gen 2 and put 70K on it in 5 years before buying the SVTC end of April this year.

That boy needs to have the flying right foot on the rear brake to put the front end down. Probably too late .
I have never tried a wheelie on my 83, too much to go wrong, especially that problematic frame issue. My earlier days on a Honda 400 Enduro, great times, I'm thankful to be alive.

That's one of the reasons I loved my '84, sooo easy to pop that front wheel whenever you wanted to...also one of the reasons I got the 2nd gen back in'10.....

Looks to me like he was standing on the seat.
He likely has some severe elbow damage now.
Wonder if he has learnt better
