Default Hi there, new venture rider from Argentina

    Hello all

My name is Serj ( its pronounced like Sarge in Sargeant ) just finished rebuilding my first bike which is an 89 Venture Royale, been looking for information everywhere and always got directed somehow to this forum, so I decided to join in order to get to talk with more experienced riders.
During my mandatory military service I was stationed at our official bike motorcade workshop so I know a few things about mechanics but never ridden anything more powerful than a Moped. I always wanted to have a Venture, it was the bike my dad rode and the prospect of buying a 250cc starter bike always made me postpone ridding a bike so I bought a clean title non running 89 Venture and put the work in it, I am taking the caution of enrolling myself in every avaliable safety course that I can find because I don't want to ride anything but a Venture. I am not looking for speed, I am looking for confort, I am 6'6 tall and wheight 360 pounds so not many bikes are comfortable to me

Those old clunker 89 Ventures are not much faster than a moped.

I should warn you that I was just kidding.
I have a 1989 Venture Royal in Faded Blue, the fastest color, and they are so fast and accelerate so quickly that it is impossible to keep saliva in production!!

I wasn't paying the required attention while blowing by a HD the other day that I actually warped the Space-Time continuum.
