Semi-retired Posted June 13, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 13, 2019 Anybody know what the heck THIS is? Note: In fairness to contestants, my bike is a '03 Midnight...but there IS an '06 1100 V-Star that's possibly involved. (Heck, there's even a Honda lawn mower that could be the "culprit". Let's start with the Venture, though. Any thoughts? (Hint #1 . It DOES say "COVER ASSY" on the back.....which is a bit of a DUH! Hint #2 . It's apparently not critical to making the bike RUN or LOOK NICE, cause it runs just fine and looks real pretty!) Thanks for any tips.
slowrollwv Posted June 13, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 13, 2019 Looks like the fuse cover under the right lower fairing.
Semi-retired Posted June 13, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted June 13, 2019 Looks like the fuse cover under the right lower fairing. Thanks for getting back. Obviously been too long since I've been in my "lowers" (if you'll pardon the expression!) I didn't even remember that there was/is a fuse panel DOWN there. Time for a visit, I guess. uhfradarwill Posted June 14, 2019 Share #5 Posted June 14, 2019 (edited) I'm still hung on the fact it's marked "PP" and "overass"!!!!!!! Edit: I didn't see the "c" preceding the overass Edited June 14, 2019 by uhfradarwill
WRIDR Posted June 16, 2019 Share #6 Posted June 16, 2019 Heheheh... we also missed the 'C', and were thinking it might be intended to serve as a helpful accessory on a long ride with limited rest stops...? As in: "Place this 'over ***' until reaching rest stop with washroom facilities?" Tough to figure out proper placement for comfort, however.~ Rgds, WRIDR
