I've had plastic chromed on my bike and it looks like the real thing. For another member I had his OEM air intakes chromed and they look as good as the billet ones....and doing this is half the price! There are "do it yourself" kits available or look for a shop that chromes plastic. They can even chrome wood and many other materials.
