Rear Tire wear (Venture Midnight)

The rear tire on my Venture Midnight got a bit ahead of me and I replaced it. This was several weeks ago. Just browsing my pics today, I noticed much more wear on one side. The tire is long gone and I have no idea now which side this would've been.

Any thoughts on the 'abnormal' wear? I live in Roanoke, VA and do a lot of mountain stuff, so in my opinion for every left turn there is a right turn.

Which ds tire did you use? I just mounted a BFG 155-80-15 and I love it.

Crowned roads in the USA cause more wear on the left side of MC tires. Left turns being longer due to driving on the RH side also contribute to LH side wear.

Besides crown of the road to left,,,, was a good article a couple of years ago that pointed out that on American roads you are traveling more miles by leaning left that right (not political).

Think about radius of turns and,, it makes sense. And opposite is true in Great Britton.
