I have seen post this week about snow and winter. Here is one way I pass time away in the winter. When my honey do's are done. OnaQwest put together video of a trip him and his wife did this year. On our trip to Big Bend we took some photos, but did not notice that the photo selector was on "video". The videos are very short. I would like to somehow save them as individual photos so I can salvage the original target. Would appreciate any information on how to do so.

I was surfing the VRide Canada, a website that has taken videos all across Canada from an HD Vrod, and found this video that i thought was cool with a Bald Eagle flying along while the bike was going past. The Bald eagle is an about the 3 minute mark, and the video is from the Merritt, BC area. I uploaded a new video to youtube. Now here's the 'backstory'. Years ago..I was friends with a fella who used to ride motorcycles. Then he got married, and they had a little girl. No more bike. But! One day, his little 10 or 11 year old girl looked at my bike...a 95 Sportster and seemed kindve intrigued. I dont remember if she asked, or if he did, but somehow, I took this little girl on her first, and it turns out, her ONLY motorcycle ride. Well...here it is years later, and the little girl is all grown up and hosting a morning show on a local TV station in Amarillo Texas. I ran into her awhile back, and we chatted for a bit. Then I managed to snag this video of her off the air, and got permission to post it on youtube. She's in her mid-twenties now, and quite a charming and lovely young woman...persuing a degree in mass communications. Her name is Meredith Keller, and she's from Plainview, where I live. I sent her the link to this video...so why not help me get the view-count up? Remember...when she was about 10 (or 11) years old...she was a 'biker chick' for about 5 minutes! Just curious what ya think of this video. One of our company's fans (Canadian) put this U-Tube video up as a review of some of the products that our company makes. Very cool! A new Yamaha with a commercial which has a bunch of video shot right in my own backyard (so to speak). I'm not sure if it was all shot here in Utah, but a lot of it was. It looks like a great bike from what I have seen on the video. I have one of these Kodak Video cameras and it does an awesome job for the money. I videoed a friend preaching so he could send it to a church that was considering calling him as a pastor and the video and sound were very good. It is 49 bucks today only. You will want to invest in a SD carrd for more video time. This works well!!!

Well...sort of. These guys do some frequent flight testing just a mile from where I live, so today, when I heard that familiar 'thrrrrumping' sound, I grabbed my camera and handheld radio and rode out to the airport to take some pictures and video.
