UGLY STORY OF THE LITTLE DUCKS!!!!!! Three women die together in an accident and go to heaven. When they get there, St. Peter says, "We only have one rule here in heaven: don't step on the ducks!" So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place. It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their best to avoid them, the first woman accidentally steps on one. Along comes St. Peter with the ugliest man she ever saw. St. Peter chains them together and says, "Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity chained to this ugly man!" The next day, the second woman steps accidentally on a duck and along comes St. Peter, who doesn't miss a thing. With him is another extremely ugly man. He chains them together with the same admonishment as for the first woman. The third woman has observed all this and, not wanting to be chained for all eternity to an ugly man, is very, VERY careful where she steps. She manages to go months without stepping on any ducks, but one day St. Peter comes up to her with the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes on ... very tall, long eyelashes, muscular, and thin. St. Peter chains them together without saying a word. The happy woman says, "I wonder what I did to deserve being chained to you for all of eternity?" I'm relatively new to side arms - in the Army I carried a 45 cal. - that's my experience. I was the recipient of a new Kel Tec P11 today and was wondering if there is something I should be aware of ? Would like to read the good, bad and the ugly Thanks

Just a reminder of how much these things like plenty of juice to run right. "Brown Sugar" was getting to not want to start as good as she used to and running crappy til she warmed up good. I saw that Advance Auto had a great deal on their AGM batteries and grabbed one for less than 60 bucks.(Thanks Dale) I went ahead and installed it in "Brown Sugar" Already got one in "Ugly" Long story short although the old battery was still working with the new one I can hardley get my finger off the button quick enough before she starts. And no more waiting for her to warm up. She is ready to go as soon as started. :think:Wonder if I could get one of these for the Warden???

This morning, from a cave somewhere in Pakistan, Taliban Minister of Migration, Mohammed Omar, warned the United States and Canada that if military action against Iraq and Afghanistan continues, Taliban authorities will cut off America and Canada's supply of convenience store managers. And if this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next, followed by Visa, Bell and Rogers customer service reps. It's getting ugly folks, real ugly.

Beth and I received some bad for us news yesterday, our tenants are moving out on June 1st....so we won't be able to make it to maintenance day in Ohio. THAT SUCKS! MD is the trip that I look forward to every year more than anything....I am NOT a happy camper. We are going to have to stay home and prep the rental unit for rent:confused24:......we need to rent it out quick, the payments are a bit of a killer. I shudder when I think of the clean up involved....I had let them paint the master bedroom...it's one ugly color, and they did an ugly job of it.....geesh! So...no MD lunch, no MD renewing friendships and making new ones, no partying at the Comfort Inn with all you crazies, dang it, no cheaper than Canadian priced wine, no getting the heck away for a weekend. Gonna miss meeting Aussie Annie and Quickie....er, I mean Quickstep...did I mention I'm not a happy camper....this is worse than snow! Just a wee bit of history then....when Beth:bighug: and I met, she lived 4 blocks up the street, we married, moved away. Her house sold, mine didn't, bottom fell out of the real estate market along with everything else. We decided to get a larger home when we moved back. It's been a battle with tenants ever since, the market is not good here in Windsor, and selling just isn't in the cards right now due to being locked in on the mortgage and the fees to get out of it are huge. In a nutshell..I guess that's it without a whole lot of boring, if not already BORING details. So...have some extra fun while you're all there at Don's, and think of us while you're doing it! We are going to miss out big time, $#@#$%%% it. gunk:depressed:

Tye and I are going to support our Seattle Seahawks, the only NFL team to ever win a division title with a loosing record. Go..... Seahawks Win or Loose History will be made. Seahawks has nothing to loose, just let it all hang out and get a win. Any kind of a win even and ugly win.

I like the looks of this bike and it has everything I would need. I tow a trailer and don't need the trunk and I think they are ugly anyway. The only thing I don't really like about it is the bags. I know I can purchase a billet cover for the ugly Air Intake, but I thin I saw someone use 5 inch car air intake before. I have looked and cant find. Or maybe somthing diffrent to get rid of that ugly black box.

This is going to be ugly. I was sitting out on the deck today with my shirt off (it's already ugly), sipping a Jamesons, puffing a Cohiba and reading a book. Out on the lake others had their shirts off (no ladies unfortunately). Tomorrow we leave for Edmonton for the weekend. Forecast... -8 with snow flurries. I am packing bottles of brandy for emergencies.

Got "Ugly" out to burn out the old gas today. Ran Great!! I didn't want to come back. But started home and stopped to fill back up about a mile above my house. Where I'm well known!! Filled her up and she drew some lookers of course. Told them she was 25 yrs old and ran good. Started her up dropped her into 1st. And she quit. Laughed and tried her again. Fired right up after the slow turn thing. Dropped her into gear . And she quit!!! Had to push her out of the way and play with sidestand switch a little and off I go... I have greased that thing, replaced it, greased it and I guess I'll do it again!! She could have picked a better spot. Friend??? offered push when she was cranking slow.. But still GREAT RIDE!!

I know you folks up north and upper mid west are gonna think I'm a big weeny but It has been COLD here in Florida. I haven't been able to ride the last two weeks because the lows have been in the 30's and the highs have been in the 50's and raining.We had snow flurries Saturday and it was ugly. Today was 28 in Tampa.You have to understand that if we go more than one day without seeing the sun we start feeling really sorry for ourselves. OK, I'm through whining.

The New V-4 VFR1200F Sound like a 1st Gen?? Looks a lot like one too. Got to be some way to stick some bags on it!!! I'll bet "Ugly" can't stay close to it. But not to much info on it yet. Could be very interesting!!

Well folks, I finally got an opportunity today to really take a good look at the Victory Vision. I was in Toledo, OH and stopped by Honda East in Maumee, OH to see if they had a trunk bag for the RSV. They sell Honda, Yamaha, Victory....I don't remember what else. They didn't have the trunk bag but they did have a new Vision inside and a demo sitting outside. I didn't ask to take it for a ride but I did sit on it and started it up. First impression was the same one I've already had and that was "WOW...this thing is really ugly". Second impression was when I sat on it and I have to say that it felt very comfortable. Ergonomics felts really good, seat felt great, lot's of room. Third....I lifted it off the side stand and thought WOW...this thing is really well balanced. It almost stands up by itself. Apparently a very low center of gravity and I'm thinking that it would handle very well. Fourth...saddle bags look HUGE until you open them. What a disappointment though when you do open them. About the size of a decent sized automobile glove compartment. I don't know WHAT they were thinking. Fifth..stereo sounds GREAT. Bigger speakers than the RSV and really sounds nice. Sixth..started it up and you can certainly tell that it's a V-Twin. Vibration is not as bad as a Harley but it certainly does vibrate. I actually like the vibration though as I do with the Harley. Probably smooths out nicely at speed. Lastly...WOW...it sure is ugly. Sorry...but regardless of the few positives...I just don't think I would ever be able to get over the ugly.

Someone made my day yesterday (hoot, hoot!!) I got a package in the mail and what a wonderful suprise!!! Ran right home and put them on!! From one Virago owner to another....thank you very much! Here's a pix of how they look on my forks! Also wanted to post a pix of my new paint job. She use to be an ugly, and I mean butt ugly, burgandy and gold. This is a great family to belong to! Thanks again for making my day!!

75 MPH + winds. Three bikes sitting in driveway. Picked them up and Lil'Red is on bottom "Parts Bike" in the middle and "Ugly" on top. Nice sight when I got home. Shield is busted off "Ugly" Other damage unknown. I looked at them from about 10 ft away and left them there I was so disgusted. Will have to wait on enough having enough sons/ son-in-laws here to pick them up off each other the way they are stacked togather. Got to put shingles back on roof first. Seems something just don't want me to ride. I'll get more later got to get back to work gathering stuff up. Scattered everywhere.

This has happened to me before and, like today, saw the bike coming up on me. I was riding on the interstate on my way to work when a pair of crotch rockets come up behind me. I always stay to the left side of the lane. They passed on my right in the same lane of travel. No big deal, but I just can't think of this being a safe practice. If I had not seen them and the car on my left drifted, it could have been very ugly when I moved right. I just cannot imagine doing this without knowing or having knowledge of the other riders experience. Is my thinking wrong here or am I just being overly cautious?

and I'm stopped at a light (in Melbourne, FL). Another scoot pulls up in the next lane. The guy looks me square in the eye and says "what an ugly bike"! Before I can reply, the light changes and he starts to pull away. That's when I notice the Star and Venture logo. :rotfl: What the.....??? Was that you????

Thanks Allan & Bill for meeting up with me yesterday for Lunch. For a little while there I was thinking it was going to be Dinner! If I knew how to work my camera :crying:I would have a picture of your ugly mugs:whistling: As it is all I got was a picture of the bikes in front of the resturant.
