I have to replace the windshield on my 05 Tour Deluxe. The insurance is paying for it so cost is not a factor. I am considering the Clearview shield because it has been talked about here so much. I wear an open face helmet and did not mind looking throuh the stock shield. I am intrigued by the extra width of the Clearview, but am concerned about having to look through the top curve of the Clearview. So far rain and mist have not been big visibility problems for me. A search has not revealed any comparisons between the stock and the Clearview. So far most of the threads I have read those who have gone to the Clearview was because of cost. Looking forward to your valued opinions. It is becoming clear to me that while healing up I have way to much time on my hands. Hope I am not driving others nuts.

Most of the threads fit my window just fine but once and a while I will be reading along and all of a sudden a post (or is it a thread?) grows to about twice the normal width. This isn't a real show-stopper but it caused me to have to drag back and forth for each line. Us RSV'rs are into things going smooth and easy. Am I doing something to cause this phenomenon?

Examples are "Watering Hole", "General Tech Talk", etc. Click on that topic area and you will see the list of current "threads". At the upper left, just above the list of threads is a blue button that says "New Threads". Click that button and you are on your way. Don

I need to replace the black plastic connector on the cb antenna. Checked with a Yamaha dealer and they said I'd have to buy a new antenna at $179.00. The connector is plastic and appears to connect the antenna top/bottom by threads. Any idea where I can get a replacement or a cheap sollution? Thanks.
