Just got done moving to a bigger place, in the past whenever I moved I'd rent a big u-haul and move everything in one load, one day and done. Well since I was only moving about a 1/2 mile away I decided to take the seats out of my mini-van and use it. 99Silver and Cap'n Quirk came over with Gary's trailer and helped move the big stuff, I of course thanked them and said "I can get the rest myself. Bad back and knees I was ready to go with the help of my 13 year old Daughter (who really did help a lot). Then it happened, first it started raining, the temperature started dropping, rain turned to sleet and the sleet turned to snow and everything that was wet turned to ice. So the move turned into a 3 day battle with the elements and left me so sick I'm living on NyQuil and the only time I get up is to make a mad dash to the bathroom. I vow to never move again until I can afford to move South where I will never see this white stuff again.

UPDATE - everything is gone. UPDATE just to be fair. I've been working by first request. You may not see the post as some have PM their request. I have over the years donated my used but working computer stuff to Goodwill. I have another truck load of printers, monitors, scanners, etc. Stuff that is working but outdated and too costly to mail. But some of the smaller stuff may be of use to fellow members. I'm a true believer in recycling and would hate just to pitch it if someone here has a use for it, just pay for USPS mailing. Or if in Texas just ride to meet. 4GB DDR2 800MHz (2x2gb) - spoken for 1GB DDR2 PC5300 (667MHz) for netbook or laptop - Goodwill 512MB (2 x 256MB) DDR 133MHz 133 pin from Gateway laptop - Goodwill PCMCIA card for laptop - spoken for 10/100 LAN card for desktop - Goodwill 10/100/1000 LAN card for desktop - Goodwill PCI SCSI-II - pending Dual display graphic card - spoken for Wireless Mouse - eats batteries at least once a month - Goodwill Garmin USB Laptop GPS with North America V8. - spoken for WIRED - Linksys BEFSR41 V.2 - Goodwill 35MM 1800dpi slide/negative scanner (USB 1.1) - spoken for WOW! I left a trail of coolant coming home yesterday. Flashlight exam showed the stuff bubbling out of the front of the radiator! Can this radiator have the core replaced?

I finaly got well enough to go back to Ga and get my trailer. I just left Kirbys house and I think his dogs wanted me and my two small ones for lunch. I got it back to the campground and can't believe the stuff I packed and how the Venture was able to tow it. I still want to say thanks to my Venture family for helping me out during this ordeal.

Glad to hear that the Vogel Rally was a success and that everyone made it home safe! Just as an update I would like to let the members know that the NARR group had another fundraiser this weekend and it turned out pretty good as well. We set up a booth at a local car show and sold popcorn, sno-cones and some of the nastiest messiest stuff that has ever been invented......also know as cotton candy! That stuff does not work well when it is 95 degrees and about 85% humidity but it sure does sell! We had a really good turnout and had a net profit of..... oh wait a minute that is supposed to be a secret! We have enjoyed this challenge but in the end the challenge is secondary to what our real goal is and we can't wait to see what these two groups have taken in together for the kids! There were actually two parts to this challenge, one was that the NARR bunch could bring in more money than the Ventureriders and the second one was that NARR could bring more people to St Judes for the tour and to present the donation. I don't know exactly how many folks will be coming from Alabama at this time but I would love to see more people from both groups than ever before.

We cannot thank jethroish and Spider and their wives enough for all the help they provided Tues helping unload the moving truck and trailer. They went above and beyond, even helped reload the truck with stuff for storage and then helped load into storage. I honestly dont know what we would have done without them since i wasnt much help other than putting things away. We would probably still be unloading..lol again we are reminded of the awesome people who are members here who constantly go above and beyond for others. still a few things back in missouri to get here yet, and i am slowly getting things put away......have too much stuff to fit in here thats for sure, in a townhouse/ duplex for now with no garage. again thanks so much for helping, sorry it took me so long to post as im anxious to finish and have some r & r time !!

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200326924_200326924 As I needed some accessories for my Dremel for my fork polishing project I came across this at Northern Tool. Since I was already in possession of a NT 50 dollar gift card it only cost me 10 bucks!! The same stuff with the Dremel kit would cost well over 100 bucks! At 59 bucks its quite a steal. If your into any type of hobby stuff this tool is a great addition for the price.

At the Cody Intl Rally I won a can of Protect All cleaner and polish. This stuff is FANTASTIC! I ordered 2 gallons of it. It also makes my chrome wheels VERY SHINY! Thanks for whoever got this stuff to give away.

I've recently bought a Lees-ure Lite tent trailer and although there appears to be sufficient room for storage of camping gear, etc, I was wondering if anyone has ideas or suggestions of methods to carry all or additional stuff on the top of the trailer? Link to the trailer http://www.leesurelite.com/tenttrailers.asp Here's an idea I had in mind.... to attach one of these to the top... http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4/Auto/VehicleRacksCarriers/RooftopCarriers/PRD~0401064P/SportRack+18+cu.+Ft.+Enclosed+Car-top+Carrier.jsp?locale=en It would have to be attached in such a way as to easilly remove it and the idea would be to store the lighter and bulkier stuff in it such as clothing, sleeping bags, things a person might want to access easilly while on the road, and what-not. Thoughts, comments, suggestions .... all appreciated.

Went after Honda Molybdenum? Grease yesterday. They didn't have any. What I got is "Yamalube Molybdenum Disulfide Grease" Extreme Pressure- Shear Stability- Water Resistant- in a 10 oz. squeeze tube for $6.50. For use where the "M Grease Symbol" is called out in the factory service manual. Is this same stuff as Honda Grease??? Good for shafts and such?? I'm thinking it is but wanted to check with the Pros.

Just wanted to know if there are any RSTD bars with weights out there for sale. Kregerdoodle tells me that the RSV weights won't work with the RSTD bars so I will need the whole set-up. Any body up-grade to Flanders and now has the bars for the RSTD? I may have stuff to trade if that works for you. Oh ya! 2006 Midnight 2nd Gen. Bubber PS: I be asking at some of the other forums too. Thanks much!

Hi everyone. Thought I would share this one with you for what it's worth. I had a lot of plastic caps left over after I fitted my new Kitchen and thought of a use for them. They fit over the heads of the Phillips screw heads to tidy the units up after construction. I have used them to tidy up some of the heads of Allen studs on the bike. 1). First find ones that fit into the holes of the Allen studs you want to cover even if they don't fit snug a little waterproof sealer putty or paper tack (Blue-Tack) the stuff that does not set can be added on fitting. 2). Push them into some of the putty type stuff previously mentioned. This is to stop them blowing away when you spray them. 3). Spray on some metallic paint or whatever colour you like, this stuff I used is supposed to be chrome. (No way is it chrome but it is a good alloy colour). Allow to dry and fit to bike. The horrid black bits on the engine are corn flies, they get everywhere this time of year. Best Wishes. Neil. Old Miner.

Ok so while making the list of stuff we are taking on this ride I see the $$$ of the electronics we will have on board. The Zumo 550 I just bought,netbook,ipad,2 high end cell phones and ipod is almost 2800.00 in "stuff". Yes I am a geek and I consider these things NEEDED. So I called to check our coverage to see if I needed to change anything and was informed that everything but the GPS would be on my renters policy and the gps would go on the bike policy. So 1000.00 in deductibles!?!?! Remind me again why we even bother to carry insurance? I wonder if this is just State Farm or is every company like that? Maybe it's time to change companies? Thoughts? Frank

I did not wash it with my clothes, I ran over it with my lawn mower. I was trying to get my front yard done before it got too dark and some how my cell phone came out of my pocket and I ran over it with the riding mower. Not too good as it went everywhere. So, I guess I will look for another Verizon phone and I just like a basic flip phone with a camera. Don't need all that other stuff. RandyA

I've been moving my handlebars around some trying to find the most comfortable position for me. I think I finally got there by rotating them down toward the tank quiet a bit. All is good, but the turn signals, cruise control stuff, etc are now pointing down too much. I've tried loosening them to rotate them up a bit, but they don't seem to want to move. Can these be rotated around and if so, what am I missing?

AM/FM/Cassette parts??? I just went thru all my stuff and have several tuner/amp units, tuner controllers (minus push buttons) and volume control units all tested and in working order. I'm trying to get rid of all this crap!! This stuff is free for shipping costs! Also, I will have several reconditioned Cassette decks available for a small fee exchange. I found a source for belts ansd pinch rollers and I will be refurbishing these decks for those interested in having a cassetre deck like new!

I was given a little cash from my ex co-workers for my retirement...the caviet was I must buy bike stuff! Tough crowd but I see more chrome and such in my bikes future. I was wondering if anyone has the harley rear lighting system laying around. I know Buckeye has some listed. Right now I am not interested in full price items unless I have to ( cheaper means more stuff right). So far I have bought a new tire and a new pair of mesh type pants I have been after but too cheap to buy myself. Got em from Motorcycle Gear through the link so we should get some credit. Thanks all.

One lazy Sunday morning the wife and I were quiet and thoughtful, sitting around the breakfast table when I said to her unexpectedly, "When I die, I want you to sell all my stuff, immediately." "Now why would you want me to do something like that?" she asked. "I figure a woman as fine as yourself would eventually remarry and I don't want some other a$$hole using my stuff." She looked at me intently and said: "What makes you think I'd marry another a$$hole?"
