Does anyone know the thread size on the oil drain plug? I was going to replace mine with a magnetic one if I could come up with the size. I came across this site.....prices are reasonable. They also list oversize plugs. http://www.cgenterprises.com/magneticdrainplugs/ Thanks Keith

This trailer I have (Harbor Freight 40x48 w/8" wheels) has a zerk fitting in the back of the hub to lube the inside bearing. Do I really need the bearing buddie for the outer bearing? Seems easy enough to remove and repack using a bearing repacker. Is there another advantage to a Bearing Buddies besides convenience? If y'all think I should get them (because they're inexpensive) what size do I get? How I determine the size if nobody here knows off hand what the actual size is? Thanks for your help!

Are you tired of having your helmets scratched by those terrible bolts that Yamaha provides with the trunk rack? Here is an easy fix - just go to your local hardware store and pick up some low-profile replacements in M6-1.00x16 size. Here are the ones I got at Lowes: I know this is pretty obvious, but I thought some of you might appreciate having the bolt size instead of having to remove one of the existing bolts and take it in to match up. Goose (Don, you may want to move this to the 2nd Gen tech tips.)

Any of you RSTD riders use a sun cover on your bikes? I am looking at the Nelson Rigg uv cover. You know the half cover style designed to keep sun off. Any other covers out there like that? If so what kind and size do you use? Thanks in advance. kickshot

Just thought I'd take a few minutes to say something nice about the great customer service from New Enough. Ordered a jacket from them last week, and ordered the wrong size. They have an excellent exchange policy. Ordered the correct size on an exchange and they ship the replacement jacket out even before they got the original back. Now that is customer service.......... Highly recommend them. If anyone needs riding gear, check them out at www.newenough.com you won't be disappointed.

I know a few of you here own or have owned a Roadstar. What size of carburetor do they have, and are they downdraft or sidedraft style? I'm not where I can look at one.

Ok, I now have 14 Leds on the 86. What I need to know is what size fuse should I put in the fuse holder to save them from blowing if there became a problem. Don't ask me what size {milliamps, amps or whatever} LEDs they are because I bought them from E-bay and they don't tell you nothing about them except the usual BS {Better, brighter}. But they do tell ya that they are 5mm LEDs {Yippee}!
