On May the 2nd I woke up not feeling too well. My left hand was swollen and my arm was tingly numb from fingertips to shoulder. The area around my mouth was tingling. Checked my blood pressure several times and it was continually going up. So off to the Dr. Office I go. He loads me into a meat wagon and sends me to UT hospital where the tests begin. the result was that I had a TIA or mini- stroke. When I was able to go tell the Boss at work they told me I would have to be off until the Dr. Said it would be safe for me to go back to work. BUT, the Medical Dept. Of Norfolk Southern said that I would have to be off for a minimum of 6 months and not have any more TIA's to be able to go back to work. My question is....What do I do with all this time on my hands? Should I still try to make MD?

My son, who works for Apple as an EXPERT/asst. manager, told me that my i mac will not allow ANY mal-ware or virus to affect my machine. having made that statement, i am asking , "Is he correct"? if so, then would it be safe to down load bit torrents? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. just jt:confused24:

Has anyone used Castrol 20-50 motorcycle oil? It doesn't say anywhere on the bottle that its for wet clutch ,and it doesn't have an energy conservation stamp. Is it safe to use--or should I stay away?

Well it is our turn to get the crappy weather. Time to hunker down in doors here in South Dakota. 2 to 5 inches today with another 10 to 12 tomorrow. So far wind gusts of up to 43 mph. Dang it all anyway, now I cant get the bike out..........Ok maybe not. Everybody stay safe and have a great new year! I just threw in the stir the pot deal cause the fire looked warm!

I can find GL-3-4-5. I can find GL-5 (with hypoid additive). Can't find GL-4 (which is spec'd). I can find more conflicting information than I really want to read. Anybody got a clue as to whether GL-5 is safe to use in our pumpkins???

Just a reminder ..., I don't think that it's necessary to go in to the uneventful details about product purchase and usage. Suffice it to say, Ed Davis (Ed-Sets), still goes the extra mile in customer service. And, I didn't even ask him too. He just took good care of me. Well I was the last to leave (on a bike) with Black Owl come up behind. Left a little after 1:00 and got home at 6:00 ran in to rain in Little Falls and tried to out run it all the way home. Got to North branch and the sky's let loose. It was great seeing everyone again and Big Bob for the first time. I guess the pork was good I was a liitle indisposed that whole day. Long story $hitty outcome. Mr Rooster made it one more year due to some friendly persuasive pleas from someone holding a shotgun. Maybe next year will his undoing. Great time was had by all. Rick sure liked that special beer beer he bought here in the states. and only 64 calories. OH YA what happen at PIP stays at PIP. Lets just say he was thirsty when he left back home. Thanks for the Grampa/ma Gak and Black Owl for pulling off a great 5th anniversary PIP. And the chef, Chris for cooking the guest of honor to perfection. Ya all chime in when you get home so we know you made it safe. Bubber

any suggestions on places to winter in the south from the Mississippi west? Wife doesn`t like humidity so Texas is questionable...looking for something like a park model trailer to rent for a couple of months in a safe location, smaller cities are better than large, good riding roads a must:301:

We made it home at 12:30 afternoon. 100 miles of rain and wet road but no problems. A great time as always now just waiting for others on the road to chime in safe.

We're in-route to Charlotte, NC (currently stuck in Statesboro, GA). Got Avon Venoms front and rear. The rear tire (Avon venom) is starting to show cord...need to get a tire TODAY! Dealerships are not open yet so I don;t know what tires are readily available today. I'm not sure if I can get a Venom today...but...is it safe to put a mismatched tire (whatever brand is available that fits) on the rear today, then change out the tire when I get home???? Is that "unsafe"?

We will be headed out by 10 am headed to stephen city va. We will meet up with aamcotrans tonight and finish the ride into oberlin fri morning/day. Everyone be safe out there. We are so psyched to be there this year. It is our first time at MD as it just wasnt in the cards last year. David

B2MOM got her motorcycle endorsement and passed her road test today so she is ready to go. I can hear it now....ALL THE WAY TO OBERLIN...Can I drive? Can I drive? Is it time for me to drive? Pull over, I want to drive now. It's my turn to drive...can I? Can I??? It's gonna be a longgggg trip! We are meeting ScaryLarry, Wanderer and Double D in Beaver Dam, KY at 10:30 am in the morning. Well picked up my new ride today in Plymouth In. 2008 RSTD new out of the crate from www.Turn1.com Rode it home 226 miles Smooth and no whine must of got a good one will see. Now time to find a trunk for it so GF can ride and be safe. This thing seems to not be as top heavy as the RSV don't know but sure felt good. Check out the Pic's. Star4772
