Is it just my bike? or do you have the same problem? Myself. (not that far away) Like to turn my turn signals on before I turn left or right. Just like I do in my truck. The problem I have always have had is the turn signal always turns OFF (times-out) before I get to the turn and I have to set it again, Is there a way to make it stay on longer? Thanks for any info. (2000 RSV) Jeff

I don't really want the jack on the oil pan/bottom of the engine, but I cannot seam to get it placed onder the RSV to get the weight off the rear wheel to put on leveling links. Any help? -
I bought my 2001 RSV used and have read alot about the levelers in the forums. Are these them...?

Is anyone aware of an online service manual for the RSV? If not, does anyone know of a manual on CD? And maybe a dumb question, but... Is changing the oil on RSV the same (just as easy) as my Vstar 650?

Will a battery tender that kicks itself out when the battery is charged (green light/red light) damage a battery if left on 2-3months? I've had one hooked up to my RSV 2 gen. since December and have heard different opinions. What is your experience? Thanks and happy scooting to us all soon with spring on the way.

I love this bike. Bought last summer after some lady backed over my Suzuki Intruder 1400. Worked out pretty good, ended up with a new bike and a new 'ol lady. (Yep, same one - funny how things work out.) Anyway, I added the Baron's slip-ons, a luggage rack, and will probably go with the Leveling Links from Diamond R. Got a question, though. Standard features list for 06 RSV mentions a clock. Damned if I can find it. I keep hitting buttons, checking the destructions, and so far no clock. Anybody wanna point me in the right direction? Ride safe.

I pick up the RSV this Friday -- this is my 6th bike so I know "generally" what to look for and go over. Do you have any specific hints for the RSV? I really start at a very base-line level of -- IF THE FRONT BRAKE FLUID DOESN'T SPRAY ALL OVER THE FENDER then things are pretty good! (Yup, actually happened to me on a purchase day!) I have headsets from a Motocomm Audioboss in my helmets from my other bike.. Does anyone know if there is an adaptor available to use them on the RSV? Thanks Al

I just finish adding a trunk lid spoiler to my RSV, the installation went smoothly and I am happy as this is adding a lot of visibility to my motorcycle. The installation is straight forward but I would caution you not to follow the connection instructions, they say to open the connector and insert the wires into the female part and then put it back together. This is very risky for short and for connector damage, I would suggest removing the pins and soldering the wires on the pin then reinsert the pin in the proper slot.(see pictures)

Hi Guys, I have just bought a 2007 Royal Star Tour Deluxe as my 06 RSTD was totalled when I hit a Bear. Anyways my buddy has a RSV and I love the trunk on the back of his bike. I am thinking it would fit my RSTD if only I could find one used or if someone has one here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -
I have a 2004 RSV with 11,000 miles on it. It feels like I am getting some play in my steering. Have anybody had this problem with their RSV. Thomas

It's all custom and I just worked out the engineering as I went along. I would cut the collars down from 2" to 1 1/2" should I decide to do it again. Hope this helps out inquiry minds

Hi Everyone, Just bought a new 07 RSV and will take delivery in April. A question I have is with the Helmet Headsets. We wear open face helmets and I am looking for a good/excellent quality set. Also need to know what pin set it is? 8 Pin? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

I am getting ready to get an RSV, when I do I am planning on changing the pipes to Bub's sleeper slip ons. When I did my Vstar V1100, I also changed out the air kit to a Baron's Big Air kit. Is that recommend for the RSV as well? Or is there a need to? I know that when I did my Vstar they told me that my performance would increase by 17%..which it did. But they also told me that I could lose some gase mileage. In fact my gas milage increased. We just came off of a long run and I was averaging 49 mpg. I guess my main question is wether or not you should change out the air kit as well.

Hi folks - does anyone have experience riding both of these bikes? I do believe my RSV will be a write-off so I will be looking at a new bike. Much as I love the RSV, I do find it a bit top-heavy and was wondering if the Tour Deluxe suffers from the same? I know there are "some fixes" for the RSV handling but I'd still like your comparison opinions first. I thank you in advance for any comments. Eugene

Hey folks, does anyone know of a kit that turns your rear turn signals into a combination tail light/turn signal? I own a '06 RSV. I have a friend who bought such a kit from HD, and it really looks great. T/Y!!

Hello, Just bought a 2007 RSTD and I love it. However maybe I should have bought the 2007 RSV cause I really want the Rider/Passenger Intercom and the CB system. Does anyone know of an aftermarket system that is seemless in that it looks great, works well and would be able to communicate with my fellow RSV riders. Thanks, PAUL

Hi, before the crash there were a couple of links to items for the RSV being sold by JCWhitney. One was a link to the ad for a half-cover that fit, and the other was a link by DenDen to a shorter windshield for the RSV. The shield had a price around $82 to $85, and the cover was $39.95. I have kinda scoured the JCWhitney site and can't find either one. Can anyone help? I need to order both,,, Thanks folks! Skip

I wear a half helmet and go on group rides frequently. I am looking for a CB microphone handset for the RSV that plugs in and can hang on the Bars. dont want it on my helmet. Are there any?
