Why do I get duplicate new post notices emailed to me every once in a while?? Sometimes there's a bunch and sometimes only a couple, and then nothing for sometimes months. I don't think it's my ISP, or Website host, as it only happens with the new post notices??? It doesn't cause any issues... just wondering..

Robin and I took a ride in the truck today to look at a timeout camp trailer. Guess what climbed into the back of the truck? Yep a 2004 standard size trailer. Not to bad condition. Needs to be aired out, doing that now. Has a little mold on the carpet. going to air and dry it out for a couple days then give it a good cleaning. Can't post pic's cause it's in the garage at this time. I don't have enough head room in the garage to set it up.Can't wait till warm weather.

I noticed the previous post actually had a timestamp that was 1/2hour in the future. So subsequant posts were showing up (text-wise) prior to the quoted post, out of sequence. ie: I posted at 9:15am clock time, but Bob's prior post had a timestamp of 9:45am.

Folks, I've been making an extra effort to make sure that ANY posts requesting prayers or any other religious content be posted ONLY in the " Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc." forum. If I see such a thread started in the Watering Hole or anywhere else, I move it immediately upon seeing it. Though I know that the majority of you are not bothered buy such posts, I also know that some of you are. It is not my intention to try and force the religious views of myself or anybody else on you. That being said, there are a number of members here who do appreciate that area and therefore, it is not going away. I want to remind you all that you do not have to read or post in that area. You do not even have to SEE it. You can hide any forum here simply by going to your User Control Panel. Click on "edit options" in the left menu and then scroll down until you see the field that allows you to exclude any forums from your view. It is very easy to do. If you wish to hide the "Prayer Request" forum or any other forum and can't figure out how to do it, send me a PM and I will help. I have closed this thread and deleted all responses. The point was to remind those who have been here a while and inform those who are new here that there is an option to hide any forums that you don't wish to see. This was meant to be an informative post but was starting to turn into a religious debate. Thank you for your understanding.

I just purchase a 96 RS XVZ1300 and have noticed that the toe/heal shifter is physically loosening up from the post when shifting. I have pulled the whole assembly back to the tranny and cleaned/greased all the joints since it appears to have never been done. The washer/screw that secures the shifter to the post didn't look right so I replaced with hardware from BB. After all is said and done the thing is still loosening up? The shifter assy is a bit out of round but not too bad so I have not replaced it yet. Is this a known issue with these bikes? Anyone else experience this problem and if so what's the fix? -
Well its getting close for a fall ride and I was wondering is anyone interested in doing it this year. Its been a couple years since we all got together so how about it? Who is interested?? Any suggestions? Poss. Date 10-07 to 10-09 or just 10-8 and 9 Joe P.S. not real good on planning but I can help. UPDATE: ALL riders coming tru Owosso meet at the M21 Westown shell 1/2 mile west of M52 Will post more if needed anyone needing information on the ride you can contact Larry or myself. I posted this up in meet and eats and here to see what happens. 9147.1 http://www.barbermuseum.org/admission.php thought i'd post this up and see if any out there wants to come over to barber's and have a little fun on oct 7th, 8th, or 9th. if so i'll look around for a motel with a good rate and post it up for ya'll. i hope to camp out at lest 1 night with my grandson and watch a few races and wander around and look at all the folk at the swap meet. it's gotten pretty big now with several thousand bikes and all kinds of parts. i found a venture owners manual last yr and got it for $3. let me know soon, i'll try to set up a place to meet and eat some good food too.

Can we get an 'edit' button in the RESTAURANT forum. It would be helpful when if we should happen to make multiple posts, or if an establishment should go out of business or change their quality of food. Personally, I now have 3 posts for one place (took about 3 minutes for the post to process, and the post button continued to work) and 2 places that have lost their status of excellence, and one place has closed. So I need to EDIT.

[ATTACH]61075[/ATTACH]I know some will say, "why?". I've wanted one prior to getting the rstd and finally took the leap. Found an 07 w/abs with 35k miles. Any how, i'll try it and see how it goes. If it doesn't work out it's gonna be an rsv or gw. Part of me hates to part with the rstd....and I may or may not regret it, time will tell. Will post pics when I get home with it.

My cousin and his wife were involved in a accident yesterday. We think that thay were in the Alamosa Colorado. area. We don't have all the details as what happened, we do know that my cousin's wife was air lifted to Denver where she passed away. If anyone has any information on this please post. Normally after reading a post, upon refresh of browser that post is grayed out indicating has been read until a new post has been added. For the last couple of weeks, this greyout has only been happening speratically, typically after dropping off net then back on. This issue is only with my home PC, as still works fine at work. Ya, gota get on site every available chance:thumbsup: Using IE8/Vista. Appears some setting on my PC has changed. Not sure where to start. Suggestions? edit, started up firefox, and hove no problem, so issue is with IE8.

hi all not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes. at kregerdoodles mx saturaday i have come out and told the houston bunch that i have prostate cancer. i have known about this for about a month now. brad and lonna were the first to know and keeped it to them selves until i was ready to go public (as i feel ya'll are my family). i wanted to tell ya'll my self. i'ts in the early stages and i will be talking to my doctor wedesday about having the operation. i have read the old post here about other members haveing this cancer, and i just want to REMIND everyone that it's very important for our male love ones to have the psa blood test. i will keep everyone updated as time goes own. see ya'll down the road some where. reguards don c.

Irene and I are taking the long route to Cody. Visited a grandson in ND, then went across Going To The Sun road in Glacier National Park. Once I get them converted I'll post more pics. (I'm running behind - still trying to get the pics from Maintenance Day done. Nothing like a job to mess up a perfectly good hobby.)

Not sure if this is where this belongs, but I thought I'd post it up here. I recently installed an RSV seat on my 06 RSTD. It would have been much more difficult without the help of this site and a couple members. First off, I'd like to thank jemorrisonjr for being one of the first to PM me an offer help and parts. Great guy, if you haven't talked with him you should. I'd also like to thank Freebird for having such a good, informative site for Royal Stars. It's the best I've found. I'm not going to bore you with technical details, but the information I received here on doing this modification was spot-on and saved me some headaches. And the tech articles have on a couple modifications I've done.
