Does anyone know if Al's is still in business? I purchased a custom cooler rack from him a couple of years ago and have been very happy with it. As a matter of fact, I have some ideas which I would like to try out on another one. But, I see that his old link is no longer active at: http://www.alsmotorcycleaccessories....oler_rack.html It would be a shame if he was yet another victim of this lousy economy. The Crusty Riders of Wisconsin? Aka The Crow? If I remember right anyway. I found them while looking for a sidecar on Craigslist a month or so ago. Then I was able to find their facebook page they mentioned. But now I can't find them again. Anybody here a member or have the link? Thanks, Bill

I came across this site by accident last week. They have moved from South Carolina to a small town near me. I am going to contact them to see if they would possibly be interested in doing windshields for our Ventures. I don't see that it would be a big deal as long as they have a "pattern" for the base. Check out their website and give me some feedback about what you think about their products, and any potential interest. ... is there any way that you could put a direct link to the ‘new’ members public profile when you post the “Welcome” message? That way if they don’t post a reply to the welcome message we could still learn a little about who’s coming on board by clicking on the link. It would save having to do a manual search through the Community members list... or am I just getting lazy? (you don't have to answer to the "lazy" part )

My continuing project is now complete. I built a long travel leading link front suspension just to see if I could. Bought a milling machine to make the parts and spent lots of time learning to machine steel and figure out how to make the necessary parts. Just finished my test run down the road and I'm still alive! The front wheel is moved ahead 4 inches to shorten the trail so the handling is quite good. Cannot think of anything else to do - so I guess it is done!

Is there such a thing, that puts lights for the brakes/marker in the top box (travel box) ala Goldwing? Also is there a current seat-nut link, I found one in threads that was dead. Thanks

A little late notice on this. The event is 4/10/2010 12200 Palomino Lane in Fort Myers, Fl. I will apologize in advance for cross posting this but I posted it last year and some folks missed it. I have it in Non venture, other clubs, public events also. I posted in M and E last year. Anyhow its a great event for a great cause.Runs from noon until.... $20.00 at the gate gets you event t-shirt and patch, live music, pasta dinner and wine tasting, not so silent auction and 50/50 and other activities. Ok, I'd like to know how much whine is too much or normal. I will be getting barons 424 slipon mufflers in the next week or so. But I was just wondering how much whine is too much? Somewhere there is a thread explaining / showing how to modify the stock RSV seat to reduce pressure on the tailbone. Seems I recall a gel pak involved. anyone have a link for this thread? I forgot who did it and can't seem to find it.

I've pretty much been sold out of VentureRider Guardian bells for a while now. I actually had a handful put back just in case but they are gone now. Folks, I'm getting quiet a few PMS and emails asking when your memberships expire. Most of you can click on "UserCP" in the menu bar and then scroll down until you see "Paid Subscriptions" in the left menu. Click on that and it will tell you when your subscription expires. I THINK that only works for those of you who went through that link to pay. If you mailed your dues and I had to do it manually, I'm not sure it will display the dates. Those of you who got in close to the beginning of the process will be coming due primarily between the middle and end of April. Assuming that they system works correctly, you should get email notifications if you subscribed through that link. Renewals can be done at anytime you wish.
