I traded my VR and Sporty for a '11 Ultra Classic Electra Glide today. I'll still hang around and hope to ride with some of you in the future, though.

Made it home with an 2008 RSV, when we crossed back into Canada today. Didn't want to say much until I got across the border and home. An 08 with 4,800 miles, pretty much bare. Got a little dirty in the rain. I doubt it will be the last time, just hope it's not too often. Don't have many pics but I know the rules. I will get some more up later when I get it cleaned up. Naugh-T can be pretty naughty, eh Kreg and Kenny ? Brad

I think a one of your pygmies attached themselves to my bike at MD last year...must have hidden in my saddlebags....Have been having a string of bad luck with the house.....well, I decieded to set a few traps for it...WELL ......CAUGHT ONE THIS MORNING.....they are nasty little cusses when caught in a trap. Dang thing nearly chewed thru it own leg to get out.....and smell....whew....well, an old Lewieville slugger took care of that one...hope it was the only one that hitched a ride home with me....your gonna have to check your bike more careful before you leave for Freebirds this year.....or park far, far, away from everyone else..

It is not the easiest thing I have ever done. Hopefully will be the first and last time. On Monday evening I responded to a very well known address, CPR in progress, possibly heart attack. With all the effort, all the meds, all we had in us we poured into this code patient. Now with a deeply hurting heart tomorrow I say goodbye for the last time to one of our own. Our emergency services director who has built our E911 system to what it is, helped neighboring communities do the same, and she lived for nothing more then to serve the community through our emergency communication facility. I was assigned to assembling the line up of emergency apparatus for the funeral procession. I have detailed our units until I cannot clean no more, have units coming from 6 neighboring communities consisting of fire, police, and ambluance, as well as NE Missouri emergency managment and Air Evac lifeflight lifeteam. No matter if its fire, police, emt, dispatcher, or director, to me we are one of the same. I think I did all I could to make this as fitting as possible to honor her career. I hope it all works out good. Their will be 2 TV stations there as well so I will post some footage of the procession when available. This is a tough assignment and I just hope I completed it to the families satisfaction.

I read they are having wildfires north and southeast of Perth. Any of that south east fire near you? Hope not. Maybe they should dig a trench from the wet part of the country to the dry part. I know but it was just a thought. Hope you're ok. Margaret

Bought the Gerbing gloves and jacket liner today at the MC Show in DC. I am so damn happy. I typically ride down to around 40 degrees with no problem but now can ride hopefully down into the 20's. I hope I don't regret not getting the pants liner but my legs are generally warm enough with my insulated pants. I hope to install them next weekend and finally get some more riding in this winter.

Trying to get a few things caught up before I go in next week on the 12th to have my left knee replacement done. Saw the Dr. and the joint is shot bone on bone. Had the right one replaced 2 years ago and its great ( hope this one ends up the same way.) At least doing it now will have me ready to ride come spring. Hope everyone has a fun winter. Steve

I just want to take a HOG minute to cheer my Razorbacks on as they do the beatdown on the Buckeyes. Sorry Buckeyes, but this is still not your year to beat an SEC team. Go HOGS!!! (all in fun) hope this doesn't break the rules, as I heard there are some people from Ohio on here. :-) Hope it's a safe game!! http://www.arkansasbiker.net/hogs.jpg

Well, 2011 started out great this morning. I woke up.. Rolled over and put my feet on the floor. No organ music and no flowers. What more could one ask for? Happy New Year to one and all and I hope your new year kicked off the same.

OK, I've done the thread search thing but want to get the most updated information out there. Where is the best place and who sells light bars for the RSV. I have a 2010 I'd like to put one on. I hope the OEM is not the only one around but that's why I'm asking. Thank you in advance for your help.

Some of you know Muffin went to CA with his aunt to help her move. Well then he flew to NY to my folks house and I rode up to meet him for Christmas. No big deal, till we leave. Headed out today at 6:30 am and got home by 7 PM. No snow till we were off of 1 in DE, then nothing but snow all the way home. Couldn't see the road in spots, we'd finally see something that resembles a line on the road and get excited. (scary when you aren't sure where the road is and where the ditch is)We actually drove on 64 in VA at 20 mph and at times that felt too fast. Was a bit scary, but it also looks really pretty here. Everything is covered in snow all the trees my front door all white. Of course it will be melting because by saturday it's gonna be up near 60 for our annual meet. All in all it was a great weekend even with the little bump of snow. (ok not so much a bump) Hope you all had a great Christmas and hope you don't have too much snow for the folks on the east coast. That wind is gonna be awful. I did get some nice pics I'll have to post a little later. Margaret

Merry Christmas from the B2 family... B2dad and I want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope Santa is good to you this year and wish there was a new Venture in everyone's stocking..or under your tree...wherever it fits. LOL! But mostly thank you for sharing your thoughts, prayers, problems, solutions and stories with us this past year. We have enjoyed the meets and get togethers all over this great country of ours and the friendship that has come with it. This is truly a wonderful family and we are so glad you have let us be a part of it this year. Here's hoping to a better 2011 for all of you and hope to meet you down the road for some more great food and friendship. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Don and Patti

Weather seems to be pretty brutal for you folks. One of the airports evidently has run out of de-icing chemicals. Hope you all stay warm and don't have to go anywhere. Hope the new year brings warmer temps for you. Not too warm with all that snow you all have though, don't need any flooding. Margaret
