We are back home from our 1500 mile trip to Florida. Lots of heat(it was 103 in Macon, Ga yesterday), and lots of smoke from those wildfires. Gonna enjoy my recliner and some AC for a bit. Ahhhhhhhh!

I noticed where some could not get in the Edlewise Inn for the Eureka Springs M&E next week. I have had to cancel my reservations so I thought I'd let anyone know that might be interested in a room there. Maybe next year for me. Enjoy.

If you enjoy bald eagles you will want to check the link below. It will take you to a 24/7 live camera feed of 3 baby eagles being cared for by their parents with sound. The nest is by a fish hatchery in Decorah, Iowa. This has become my screen saver. Very cool. Enjoy! http://sportsmansparadiseonline.com/Decorah_Bald_Eagle_Nest.html

So i have owned 4 goldwings already. From 78 to 84. All the sites I joined relative to goldwings were very informative as here on this forum. The big difference is that I could use more specific related topics on goldwings sites. I usually log on to see what other people are talking about and to see if anyone is preforming a mod that may be interesting. I find slim to none here on this site. I guess this is due to the wonderfull nature of the beast we ride. Not many breakdown , mods, or upgrade topics. Most RS riders enjoy thier bikes as is. I have noticed seat and handle bar changes which I also plan to get done, but other than that a solid soild bike that leaves most activity in the watering hole as opposed to the repair section.

We are considering trying to get tickets for an upcoming Master's...has anyone ever gone to it...is is worth the time, money, effort? I know golf doesn't appeal to everyone, but I enjoy it and think it might be pretty neat to watch someone who really knows how to play the game.

Dear Fellow North Georgia riders, Though I was unable to participate in many of the local M&E, I did get to a few and certainly will miss Terry's leadership. One of the reasons I missed was involvement leading a group of riders myself. When I spoke with Terry after his announcement he encouraged me to consider doing both.... at the same time. So after some thought I would like to throw out an invitation. I head up a small group of riders we call COR (Community of Riders) that began out of my church. We ride once a month from March through October as well as our annual January 1st ride. Though we have 30 or 40 who I notify ride dates, we normally have 4 - 12 bikes show up. Our first ride of the year is this coming Saturday (March 19th) and we will be going from Roswell up to Blairsville for lunch and then back to Roswell. We will be meeting at the QT on the corner of Hwy 92 and Maybry Road. Hope to gather by 8:45 with KU at 9. We are a pretty diverse group that like those here simply enjoy the wind on our knees and fellowshipping with others who enjoy the same. Obviously not sure what to expect however the more the merrier and if need be we'll just add some mid pack ride leaders to help keep us together. If you would like to get a better feel for the group feel free to visit our blog at I will try and keep tabs here or you may PM me. All the best, Norm

We dont realize how fast things change until we look back at an old ad. The stuff that has probably changed the most is the computer related stuff, so here are some old ads to enjoy. http://uneasysilence.com/archive/2010/10/15478/ Brian

There's just not much comment which needs to be made to introduce this video. The video itself pretty much sums it all up. Enjoy & Be Safe! Pete. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ15mbuE_pw&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - Let's Ride Motorcycle![/ame]
