My wife works at a local hospital. Told me this story friday. Man is in barber shop geting his hair cut. A beautiful girl comes in and he says " I could kill myself for you", pulls out a pistol, drops the clip and put the gun under his jaw and pulls the trigger. He forgot there was a round in the gun. Bullet went through his jaw into his head and through the barbers hand. He really impressed her!! Please if you attempt to impress anyone, TAKE THE ROUND OUT OF THE GUN!!! tew47

AHHHHH, finally, a beautiful day in centrial W.I., apx 60 and all sun,i have the fever so bad, all i think about is to ride,bitter sweet though, my bike is under construction and wont be ready for another 2 weeks, ill be ready to ride very soon, so if there is anybody who is intrested in a cruse soon, let me know, its time!!!!!

Anyone had this years maple syrup yet? Went up to my brother-in-laws tonight. He is making some very light colored beautiful stuff right now. Nothing better on pancakes.

well we made it back tonight and i see i have a lot of catching up to do.......you guys were busy we are tired and dale had to make the trip back with the flu so he went straight to bed... we had a good time and great Christmas! and of course i got to get my hands on the new grandbaby finally !! He is beautiful and so big already ( 4 months) was great to get away , but its great to be home to my own bed....... will catch up tomorrow !

Well,a group of us from my local triumph dealer,went for a nice 134 mile fall ride yesterday. Temps were in the upper 50's to low 60's and was a little breezy at times. We did a few twisties and rode along the bluff. Saw a lot of farm land and beautiful fall colors along the way. We ended up a local BBQ place in Sparta,IL. called South side Ribs:thumbsup:. Good food, great company and a nice fall ride.What more could you ask for.Well, maybe Bill and Allen H. to be there.

Took advantage of a gorgeous day in NH. No traffic, peak fall colors, peaceful. I started out for a short ride, but the smooth ride on my RSV just kept me going and I had soon put on 150 miles. Last Sunday, I had rented an '08 Harley Electraglide Ultra to see what all the hype was about. Nice ride once you get past the "Parkinson" shaking at idle, but not good enough to convince me that it's worth 23 big ones. I parked the Harley next to my RSV and had a good laugh. The dash on the Harley was cheap vinyl compared to the retro look of the RSV. I also like the beautiful curves of the RSV body versus the boxiness of the Harley. And my wife didn't appreciate the lack of passenger room and the cramped leg room on the Harley. I have to admit that I liked the sixth gear on the Harley, but still I can't justify the price difference between the two bikes. So, I went ahead and ordered a set of roadhouse mufflers to get the sound I want on the bike that I love, my RSV. Hope the weather holds up for a while so I can enjoy the new mufflers before the beast has to go into hibernation for the winter. Wishing you all beautiful autumn ventures!

We did the Thunder Beach at Panama City Beach thing Sat. Took in the custom bikes and I took a few pics. They were more beautiful in person and some were very unique. Enjoy

Hi there. Saw this unique and beautiful Royal Star Tour Deluxe 1997 on eBay. Sadly, my BOSS is keeping an eye on our bank account. Getting a little to chilly to sleep in the garage. Really like the custom vintage color scheme on this one. I took off from Chicago this morning at 10:30am and drove straight through to Knoxville, Tn. What a beautiful day, and beautiful ride!!! :cool10: Boy, did I have a nice day!! Tomorrow morning I will be rideing the dragon for my first time. I have heard so much about it! I can't wait!!! I think I will ride on down to Vogel, too, just to see that area as well. If any of you are going to be around the area, I would enjoy shareing a cup, or lunch, or a ride just to meet some more of the "Family" If not, well, I am going to have another awesome day anyway.

We go here at least once every other year. If I were loaded, I would buy a place here to live. Beautiful country!

I was out rididng with the co-captain for her birthday - rididng through MIddletown PA I see a 1st gen and pull over. Eric did too. He just got the bike yestday, a 1986 with 60K miles. Beautiful bike. Told him about venturerider - if he comes on board give him a big VR hello.

Wednesday was a perfect 78 degress here in Louisville, KY and beautiful, Deb and I took a vacation day and played hookie. The Kid was in school, all the riding buddies were working so we had a little motorcycle date day. It was very nice. We only put about 150 miles on em, as were stopping often and just hanging out. I am looking at purchasing a bike in Montgomery, AL. It is virtually new - per the owners description. However, before I send a significant chunk of money to the owner, I would like to lay eyes on it. And since I am still snowbound in frigid Wisconsin, I was wondering if there is a set of surrogate eyes in AL that could help me out. I don't even need it to be ridden, although that would be OK also. Just want to know if it is as described. Is there someone who would be willing to help me out? Thanks, RR And, no, this is not replacing my beautiful RSV. It is an addition to the stable.

Kit and Dave38X stopped by to show us Kit's new ride! Beautiful bike as evidenced by the pictures! Kit and Dave are off for a Sunday afternoon ride to McLeod Farms for ice cream and peach enchilida. It is a beautiful day for one! Poor Sleeperhawk - can't go for a ride yet - Pony still waiting parts:crying: but hopefully by next weekend, we will be out there too!!!
