have an '06 stratoliner. thinking of purchasing an '08 venture. we' re going on a ride out to the upper west coast this summer and was wondering if the upgrade was worth it. have nothing but good things to say about the stratoliner, but was looking for more comfort on a long drive. any help would be appreciated...

I have had my Venture for about a month now, I have rebuilt the Diaphrams with great success and got the headlights working fine with a tip from one of the members. Now I would like to see about the CLASS air system. It does not appear to be working. There is nothing on the readout screen. Does anyone know of a site that shows how to walk your way thur this system from end to end? I am not really even sure how this thing is supposed to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. For Christmas I got the Baron's 4-2-4 Slip-ons for my 06 RSMV. I cannot wait to get them on the bike! I also got the extreme Family Jewell attachments. Questions for all you Guru's out there......... Is the install easy? Do I need to rejet? Most of all...... Are they loud ( I hope ) or just announce my presense? Any and all information appreciated!

Is there an easy way to check/tighten the upper radiator hose clamp without having to tear a lot of stuff off the bike? Any tips regarding this is greatly appreciated! Regards.....Boomer....who suspects a very small coolant leak from the upper hose.

if i find some 32mm carbs in good shape sometime in the future, i was wandering how easily or difficult it is to adapt these to a 1996 rsstd? what other parts would i need to purchase or look for used, and what other tech tips will i need to know? any and all input will be appreciated. i know that this enhancement is supposed to make a major difference, and if i keep the bike, which i probably will, i will try to do this task. thanks, Mark. -
Hi just wondering if anybody is using the Dave Ramsey debt program? If so did it work or is it working for you? I'm just starting to see that it would be alot easier to have no debt. I mean of course it is but you know that aint easy. Any advice would be appreciated, what with the economy and all things have gotten uglier around here! Thanks for your input.===Danimal

How often should the plugs be changed? The dealor told me today that he recomends changing them every 6 - 8 thousands miles. Seem low to me but I'm new to this bike. Any info is appreciated. David

I've read the many threads here about direct wiring, and have decided that I would "prefer" to install a fuse panel somewhere under the seat (??). I'm not too keen on connecting accessories directly to the battery. A couple of questions: 1) What types (manufacturer) are you folks installing and are you happy? 2) Where have you installed the fuse panel? 3) Are there panels made specifically for the RSV? Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Can anyone help me with this problem.....my class for my 1983 VR is'nt working at all. Even when the key is in the correct position it just does'nt come on. Any ideas what the problem might be? Does anyone out there have a spare one they would like to trade for? I have quite a few parts so I might have something that you're looking for. Is there anyone close to Temple, Tx. who could help with the problem? As always.....any help would be greatly appreciated.

My nephew, his wife and daughter(10 months old) are moving from Boston to Houston, beginning of September. She is being transfered with her job. She will be working around Jones and 290 area. They are looking to rent in the north west end of Houston. Any suggestions as to were to rent and were not to. Or do you know of anyone who is looking for tenants. Any help would be appreciated. I have recently purchased 2005 rsv and was told that the warranty could be transfered. Is this true,and if so what is the process? Also can YES warranty be purchased after the bike has a second owner? Any help would be appreciated.

looking for the air grill on the right side, under the leather pouch on an 88 VR, about 3"X7" ,I'm Guessing......... mine blew off on the way to the Kitchener Rally...... bummer.... any help locating one would be appreciated..... if in Ontario Canada, I will ride to come and pick it up...............thanks JOHN

Help! I am a old newbie and love to ride as long as it not over 55!!! All of a sudden I do not like left turns. Any suggestions?? Any suggestions that will help me will be greatly appreciated. And yes I have gone to motorcycle school too! Karen the cruise lady:scared:

help Progressive springs

I am in the proses of putting in new springs. when you put the new progressive springs in, what do you leave out? Below the cap bolt is a cap with a o ring on it, does that get left out? If you put that in, it is already higher than what is recommended without using a spacer at all. Any help will be appreciated. -
Is the standard hook up for the CB a 5 pin? I heard something about a different 5 pin configuration that does not fit the Yamaha. Any info would be appreciated.

Hubby asked if I would jump on the website (we don't have internet at home) and find out from you guys if wiring from the Venture (tail lights and blinkers)to a new carrier he's made that sits behind the bike is easy or if he needs to do anything special. I'm not sure what thread I'm looking for about wiring. He's planning on doing it tonight so any help would be appreciated!

How big of a job is it? I know you have take the weight off the shock. Is the spring going to cause a problem reinserting the bolts? I've read the procedure somewhere here before but can't seem to find it. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

My factory CB (2008 RSV) keeps turning itself on when I'm out riding. Cannot figure out why? Anybody else have this problem? Info on how to stop it would be appreciated? Is it a warranty repair?
