I want to buy a GPS for my motorcycle. Would be nice to also use it in the car but not mandatory. What is the best one to buy. Looking at ZUMO 550 and Tom Tom's rider 2nd Edition. I don't know enough about them but I GOTTA HAVE ONE...... Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thinking about picking up an 86 on ebay (all platic gone, just frame, engine,etc.) for the motor to put in my 84 so I don't have to fix 2nd gear. That's the only reason for getting it. Thoughts? Right now it's at 261.00, maybe goes up, I wouldn't give over 350 for it. Thanks, Dan

Help when the bike is running I got fuel running out an overflow tube that sits under the tank there are 4 hoses however 1 the 2nd flow the right side is running fuel out how do i stop this -
Have any of you replaced your antenna with a 2' antenna? I have studied the Marshal Mod and don't know why a 2' top loaded antenna would not work. I have an 89' VR with a single antenna. I will be interested to hear your experiences. Even 2nd gens, because the cb part works the same, just no splitter. Thanks, Alan..

Does anyone know if gears from a Royal Star or 2nd Gen are interchangeable with a 1st Gen? Looking to use a 5th gear and pinion out of a Royal Star or 2nd Gen as an overdrive for a 1st Gen.

This is Tech Bulletin M85-014 which refers to the parts wear resulting in second gear failing. NOTE: The 2nd gear problem was fixed in 1985 after serial number 0001413 M85-014 Transmission Repair Diagnoisis Tips.pdf

Alright folks, I know you've all scoured the internet for parts for your bikes. Lots of 'em hard to find, most of 'em you get outbid at the last second, sometimes even costing you more than the bike did by the time the auctions are over. ALL OF THEM WITH BUY IT NOW!!! And from looking at the prices, looks like some really good deals. About the only items I didn't find on there were trailer hitches and Carbs. It looks like these guys are based out of Ohio too, so maybe if we ask nicely we can get Don to take that nice new trailer he got and pick up parts for us.
