Any chance you have one more set? Or, that same set available?

Instructions to make them are in the tech section. I can punch out a set of you need me to.
I would be interested in a set. If it's not too much trouble.

So, I had this happen 3 times.
Pulling out of a parking space in 1st gear and then a "click". She popped into neutral. The second time it happened I was leaning into the turn. Needless to say, the bike and I ended up on our sides.
This is quite a concern for me since I don't want this happening in traffic.
Has anyone experienced such a thing? If anyone can give me some guidance on where or what to look for to correct this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Links are there but pics don't show up unless opened. Is there a way to have the pics show up to make it easier to print complete with imbedded pics?

It's black, has 2 wheels, 2 seats, 2 antennas, a windshield and trunk rack, but I see only one flag.
Nice looking though, bet you will be happy and so will Miss Sally.
Now what you going to do with the 85?
Sold! The guy who bought it is going to send it to Zanzibar. Paid cash.

@Midicat that looks pretty slick. Nice work.
Thank you. Best thing I have done for audio.

Sally has a stylist who admits that she came home one day to find awesome chunky stew in a plastic container in the fridge. When her mother came home, the stylist thanked her mom for saving some stew for her. Her mother abruptly stated she hadn't made stew. She was eating leftover chunks in gravy dog food. Mmm, Mmm, good.

I have that sound at 3000 rpm. No matter what gear I am in.

@Midicat would you mind posting what all you did? I have a desire to keep it as original as possible. With that said, I’m not opposed to changing things up if I can put it back to factory condition. For instance I opted to hack up my brand new speakers to fit the bike rather than hack up the bike to fit the speakers.
Cleaned out the old system, gave it away and installed this Pyle unit on dark polycarbonate sheet cut to size. I used a rotary tool to remove the mounts for the old system. Mounted the bracket and hooked it up. I stream music from the phone but also use a USB drive with over 4000 songs.

Good call @Marcarl didn’t look up what this goes to but it’s less likely an issue in the future.
When I had mine apart, i opted for changing the whole sound system. I don't have any cassettes anymore so I went with marine grade Bluetooth enable stereo sytem. Connected to my phone and streams for as long as there is fuel in the tank.

Sounds like the right investment considering I’d be replacing it anyway. That bolt extractor kit looks wicked familiar to me but I can’t for the life or me place where I’ve used one. I didn’t find it in my Arsenal so maybe I borrowed one sometime. I have a kit for stripped screw heads but not hex.
Amazon has them.

Generally if you drain the oil and remove the filter while it is hot and then leave it sit with the plug out and filter off until it stops dripping you tend to drain more of the old oil out plus sediment which would still be suspended in the oil. If the the bike is cold or has sat for a bit a certain amount of the suspended sediment in the oil will settle to the bottom and not drain out with the oil. Also make sure the bike is upright and sitting so there is good flow in the direction of the oil plug. If you you really want to give it a good clean add a pint of engine flush or bottle of seafoam to a full crankcase of oil and let it idle for 10 to 20 min (DO NOT RUN HIGHER THAN IDLE) then immediately drain oil and remove filter while hot and wait until it stops dripping before replacing oil and filter.
I thought about adding seafoam and letting it idle for a bit but my impatience keeps me from going to that extent. I will try it... One day.
I always have the bike on centre stand and engine hot when starting an oil change.

Are you draining it when warm/hot? You’ll typically get more out if the engine isn’t cold. I did this change cold but the sight glass is fairly clean looking after warming it up a bit.
I always have engine hot before changing the oil. I think I will try letting it sit for some time before I add the new oil.

So here's my question.
I have had my bike serviced at a bike shop. Oil change only and when I pick it up after service the oil is perfectly clear. How do they do that? Now that I change my own oil, I can never get it that clear. What is the secret?

@uncledj
After reading your post in Gen 1 Tech Library on collector repair I was interested in the idea of a couple of sheet metal screws to hold the baffle in place. So, I thought I would give it a go. I have another collector but thought this might be simpler and also made sense to me.
I gently laid the bike on the right side. Marked the tack welds on the bottom with a circle and drilled for screws on the marked dots.
Broke 2 bits in the process but got it done.
I stood her back up and started her.... Purrs like a cougar now. 😀 No more rattling! WOOHOO!
Thank you for your fidgeting that brought this solution to my attention. 👍

Yes. The whole purpose of removing it was to switch to a spin-on adapter. That bolt was looking far too tired to keep doing this for much longer. 😂

Sheeeshhh!!! Try to take you guys for a real country tour and all I get is lip-flappin from you all. At least some riders got all the benefit and enjoyed the round-about and perfect scenery. It was a once in a life time opportunity, and yah missed out,,,,, tough titty said the kittie, but the milk tastes good.
But stick around, you just never know what the chef will come up with next!!!
Yeah,
I will never forget that memorable ride through a dairy farm that you captained. One in a million experiences!

Tough luck, I got here first. Trying to avoid me or somethin?
Your slider fell apart, not a new thing. Check very, very closely to see if it's cracked, it could be eh. If it is cracked, it's history, but you are in luck, know where I can find one without going to Burlington.
I could never avoid you. You know so many people in Ontario that I'm sure they report sightings to you so you can keep tabs on anyone you like. 😂
I will inspect it today. If it is good then I can glue it back together?
Burlington is a nice ride. 😀

Exactly what I have happening now. Left rear slider not moving. Cylinder #1 I believe. Anyway, I removed the cover and carefully removed the diaphragm to inspect for holes. (shouldn't have any, replaced 2 years ago with less than 1000 kms on them) when I pulled the slider and diaphragm out, the black portion of the slider stayed put. I had to stick my finger into the slider to slide it out. Should that happen or should it be attached?
Do I need glue or a new slider?
Thanks in advance.
P. S.
I am getting better at doing this stuff alone. And what I mean is "without having delivered to Carl to save the day."

You left out the part about facing a wall while parked in the garage......Don't ask how he knows this
Why am I not surprised!
