I bought my Tank Bib from Talisman Leather in London Ontario. I liked them as they have a choice of with or without the braid or the studs.
https://talismanleatherlondon.com
I'm not a huge fan of the studs on the tank bib that Cherry's been wearing since I bought her, and frankly the large looking zip pocket that takes up most of the real estate is as useless as a prairie lighthouse. The velcro-flapped one below it is only slightly less useless.I'm going to see if one of the outdoor/technical gear shops in town can use it as a pattern, and make me one out of ballistic nylon with 3 rows of PALS webbing down the centre, so I can use any combination of big or small MOLLE style pouches in its place. Those kind of pouches are cheap and widely available online, or expensive and widely available if you wanted to buy from one of the Gucci operator/door-kicker brand names out there.
Whaddaya think? If you have a better idea, let's hear it.

Nice!! Love the colours!

Yes that's the part number! I can't believe my dealer wants 51$ for one of these. I'll order from Partzilla, thank you.
Buy a few from the online and then go to your stealer for a refund. Lol

It’s not completely a done deal yet but it looks like I’ll be picking up a 2004 RSV midnight. It’s a local bike with about 70000kms or a bit over 40000 miles. It’s got most of the chrome accessories available and new metzeler tires.
I loved my 2013 HD Road Glide Ultra but it will be great to be back
It’s a done deal!!! I picked her up about 11this morning and around town most of the day. There were some carb issues at first with a bit of leakage out of one tube and the engine wouldn’t idle and ran rough. The owner told me the bike had sat for about 18 months so I wasn’t surprised. I added half can of sea foam and within a couple of blocks it was starting to run better and by the end of the day ir was running smoothly and lots of acceleration. Happy to be back on a Venture!

Next time your at the marina in San Luis Bay stop by Fat Cats for fish and chips... Great place for lunch.. Or breakfast?? :-) You might want to visit Fess Parkers Winery. We did that on a Venture West and few years ago in '08. Not too far from Avila. You get there off hwy 154 turn off 101. Speaking of 154 you can visit Cold Spring Tavern up on Stage Coach Road. Goes back to 1886... Also take 101 north of Vandenberg up toward Guadalupe to Pizmo. Feels like you're in Tiajuana.... Ride the beach at Pizmo... That aught to keep you busy for a while... :-)
I still remember the huge meals and breakfast at Margies Diner in SLO at Venturewest with everyone. Amazing food and amazing people. I think it would have been a great ride that year to, if the Venture would have stayed together.

If there is any way to avoid Chicago and Detroit, take that route.

I am trying to work out logistics to make this maintenanace day weekend happen. I am about 50/50 if I can make it happen. I am thinking that I might be best going on the north side of the lake when I am headed there instead of going south and around the Chicago area. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best route coming from Western Canada?

It looks like I can make this one.

I have the Sena SMH10's that we use with helmets and like them a lot, but sometimes found the wind noise got a bit too much in VOX mode at speed. So we cut the finger off a thin leather glove, punched one hole in it and slid it over the foam ball over the mic, ensuring the hole is facing your mouth. It cut down on wind noise a lot and is an easy fix.

We replace quite a few screens at work and in most cases its pretty easy. Heres a link to the guys that give us the best service and the best price whenever we check. good luck with your fix up!
Brian
Well, I knocked over my TV tray with my Compac laptop on it and it evidently busted the screen. I am looking at getting one off ebay and swapping it out. I just watched a youtube video and it don't look too complicated.Right now I am on Linda's laptop trying to work thru it. Bummer.

Ill be there, Kruisn the koots is going to be a blast. Ive been riding a 2013 HD Road Glide since March, and have decided not to keep 2 bikes around so the RSV got the short straw.
Brian
What the heck, Brian? I thought you were coming to Krusin' The Kooteneys.Dale.

I sold my 2003 RSV a couple of days ago to a real nice guy that used to be in here when he owned a G1 Venture, so I think youll see him back. I may have sold the Venture but youre not getting rid of me that easily, Ill still hang around and poke the odd proverbial bear from time to time. I love this place!

I use Glympse when on a long ride in a large group. We can keep track of one another if we get separated,.
Here's another one. Glympse, It's an app that lets someone follow your location in real time. I know a lot of people don't want to let people know where they are. But, for me, I use it so my wife can see that I am still moving and she doesn't have to worry about me being in a ditch somewhere when I'm out for a ride. I just send her a "Glympse" via text and she can bring a map up and see my location at anytime. And she'll have an idea when I should be home. -
I just bought a replacement on ebay a couple of weeks ago for 60 bucks...... reconditioned... there is always some 765t on there , but it might take a little waiting to get one at a steal price, but be patient, they are on there...

Ive always gotten good service from them, and the prices were almost always the lowest or close to the lowest. (I still have to shop around just in case ) Boats.net was the other best price site ive dealt with and gotten good service from
