  1. Just my 2 cents worth? I enjoy the fact that I can ride to the States, and have had no hassle. BUT, if I were to encounter such a problem getting into the US,,,, forget it, we have lots of nice roads, friendly people, good food,,,,, that I really don't need all that. It's just a feeling I have, and it may go away, but when I would tell the border guard my destination, the name of the mall, but can't say exactly which stores???????????? that yahoo is a little over done, and I'll shop, online, or stay where I seem to be welcome. These guys were making mountains out of mohills just to justify pulling him over. Now that being said,,, it is a recording and needs to be taken with a grain of sand,,,, but.! Carl
  2. If you want to get rid of that pesky little icon, fall in love with it, it's easier.
  3. We had a B vent for years and last year went to the demand heater. Can't say anything for durability, but the warranty is 1 years on soft water. It runs very quite, it hangs on the wall about our toilette downstairs, and when I was using the facilities it came on, but I continued to talk through the door to Marca,, yes it's not noisy. Without the small tank though, it does take a bit of water to get HOT water, and in my opinion, it saves a lot of gas. Last year I could compare our gas usage. Our former house, 3500 sq ft heated to 50 degrees and no occupants, but the water heater stayed on, to our new place 1400 sq ft, with my shop 750 sq ft, total 2100 sq ft with a high efficiency furnace and the demand heater. It was cheaper by $15 month at our new place. I credit the difference mostly to the water heater. JMHO Carl
  4. Now if you're going to pull the engine to do the starter clutch, maybe you should get second gear done while you're at it. Maybe it would be just as easy to change the whole engine if you can find one cheap, and then do the starter clutch while you have it out. I know where you can find an engine,,, would'nt be much effort or cost, fact is someone took delivery of it just recently. Does this help????
  5. I think that sometimes that's about the long and short of it.
  6. The door is always open, don't know what locks are for,, only to keep out friends anyways. Glad you seem to have it somewhat in order, and that prayers have helped you through it all,,, so far,,,, now to carry on and make life anew. Not going to be easy either,,,, but it will come to you,,,,, just go get it Lowell Carl
  7. When you least expect it,,,,,,,,, smile, you're on Candid Camera
  8. The timing is just right,,,, no flu shot for me again,,,, I hate needles anyways. Hope you feel better soon, spring is coming!!!!
  9. We got us a demand water heater last year when we did our renovations on our new to us house. It saves room, (stuck it on the wall) but it does take gas. You never run out of hot water, but the temp does change if you use water elsewhere during your shower. At first we weren't too pleaseed with it, but now that we're used to it and can see the differnce in our gas bill,,,, I'll put one in my next house,,,,,, but I would get the one that has a small tank inside, that way you get hot water quicker and more consistent. Ours is in the basement bathroom and I can't say that it makes any bothersome noise.
  10. Now this sees a little out of character,,, who's the cheap one not wanting to pay toll,,, I wonder:think:
  11. 2 for me,,, does it come full of HOT coffee?
  12. http://toronto.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20101013/toronto-police-freak-collision-101013/20101013?hub=TorontoNewHome ctvtoronto.ca A Toronto police officer was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries after a freak collision downtown. "It is a weird one," Sgt. Tim Burrows of the Toronto Police Service's traffic unit told CTV Toronto on Wednesday. A motorcycle had been in the curb lane of Queen Street West and then tried to navigate around a parked delivery truck around 6 p.m. "In attempting to return to the curb lane, he lost it on the streetcar tracks," Burrows said, who noted there was rain at the time. "The bike went down and slid in a northern direction. He went off to the south." A police officer standing astride a bicycle at the intersection of Queen and Beverley Street got knocked down by the sliding motorcycle, which approached him from behind, he said. The motorcyclist wasn't hurt, but the officer suffered back and leg injuries, Burrows said. The scene was reopened to traffic shortly before 8 p.m.
  13. Should we post that at Freebird's as well,,,,, you never know. Maybe better safe than sorry
  14. TSC has the Mr.Heater Maxx on sale this week for $429.00.
  15. I found it interesting, it moved along nicely, although sometimes too fast. The vocals need work. His voice is good, and fits the type of video nicely, but it trails off too easily, and he needs to enunciate more clearly. If you are familiar with the product and what it does, you might be alright in following him, but he lost me a lot of times.
  16. I won't buy from them anymore,,,,,,, does that help???? If bad gas is just water in the gas, through in a good amount of methyl hydrate, that will soak up the water and run it through the engine.
  17. Yep, that's why they put floor boards on the 2nd gens, it's happens quite often.
  18. And you didn't have enough love for the rest of us to let us know where all this freebeer was????? For not showing up and us having to eat all the food by ourselves, well that can be forgiven,,,, but not sharing the beer,,,,,?????????? What does everybody else think about that move???????
  19. Muscle it open further than what it now? Actually, I would think the hinges are bent, so you may want to start looking there. I don't think they are adjustable, but if they are, the adjustment may have slid somewhat.
  20. Best we can do is pray, so done!!
  21. I got the 660 and can see it all the time, it's out in the open, and I wear sunglasses. Can't speak for the blue tooth, don't use it, just use the hard wire through the IC and that works fine, no issues. I'm thinking you got a bad 660.
