  1. Wow! That makes this look like a reasonable price. https://us.rabaconda.com/products/ultimate-kit-street-bike-tire-changer I do mine on a HB changer with the NoMar mount/dismount tool.
  2. DJ, I am in a similar field. I have been very fortunate(read LUCKY) that my frequent decisions to change employers has always benefited my family. I am now, #2 in the service dept. and #1 is ready to retire at any moment. Ironically, the company I now work for is the one I started out with in 1995. All this to say, I am sure you made the right decision.
  3. Good luck on the new job!
  4. skydoc_17 sells a delinking kit. New SS hoses and and a manifold for the front.
  5. Sure! Do you want to personalize them or just the VR logo? 1 Logo or two on opposite sides? Etc.

I am going to be out of town for a couple weeks starting Monday, so it will be at least two weeks before I can do them.

BTW, the tumblers are from Harbor Freight and are $6.00 right now. Not sure if that is the regular price or a sale. I'm thinking $7.50 ea. + shipping.

I’m not in any hurry. Thinking I like the VR logo on both sides if it’s not too much trouble. Just let me know a total price when you get to em.

Will y’all get to come down to the June rally? Hoping to get several down from Don’s MD get togethers and some from the Vogel/Asheville group. It’ll be the first time some of both groups get to meet.

  6. Playing with the Longer Ray5 10 Watt laser engraver and Rotary accessory today. I asked Freebird if I could use the VR logo on my travel cups and he graciously allowed it. The black cup was a PITA! I ended up masking the engravings off and shooting the cup with a rattle can as the clean up with acetone(alcohol wouldn't cut the shmutz) dulled the original finish horribly. The SS cup turned out quite nicely.
  7. Kris and I used to use the Cardo Bluetooth intercom sets. They worked well and were relatively inexpensive but only had about 50' of range. That was many years ago and they are a different animals today. The Cardo Spirt HD set boast a 600 meter range. https://www.cardosystems.com/shop/spirit-hd-duo/
  8. I don't have room to use a hydraulic MC jack. I will have to take a look at whether it will interfere with the scissor lift I have. I would just like to be able to do an oil change without dragging the scissor lift out. It would also be nice to get her off the wheels for the winter storage.
  9. IIRC, the gen 1 stand can be installed on the Gen 2 with minor mods...Right? If that's the case, I would like the center stand. PM inbound.
  10. Update: The GFY-1 runs great on 1400 FPS 1 oz. slugs and 9 pellet 00. I picked up a couple hundred rounds of Blamo😁 branded high velocity 2/34" slugs and 00 at a gunshow last weekend for $20/60 rnds. The few people I've talked to that know the brand say they are fine. We'll see. The price can't be beat.
  11. Definitely a sign that God is watching out for you and your wife. We will keep you in our prayers.
  12. My '06 Black Cherry has 110K on the clock. I'm hoping for another 110K, but I may start looking for a used Gen 3 in the next decade. I am, currently shopping for a project bike to bob. I'd like it to be a Virago, but a Magna would be nice too.
  13. That is it exactly. It looks great and the reviews are good, but that's just a bit more than I'm willing to spend for a little convenience.
  14. https://www.100explosive.shop/products/ultimate-kit?st&fbclid=IwAR0pFqnavXpr7zWNS6M5FXeTKHAuk3MJXOTMpwry6kdzKCREmGYZjgE_B8w The website linked reeks of scam but the tire changer looks fantastic. Has anyone seen anything similar from a more reputable source? I have modified my HF changer and added the NoMar tool, so it is much easier to use than it was stock. However the size/portability of the linked system would be a no brainer if it is real.
  15. OK, Kris came home Thursday. 1 week after the surgery. She's doing great! Tired and achy but improving daily.
  16. She got the remaining 2 chest tubes and her A-LIne removed yesterday. Supposed to be moved out of SICU today. Unfortunately I had to go back to work and pay the bills, so I am in Durham for the week. I will be home Sunday.
  17. I ran the whole season on it. No really long trips, maybe 2k miles. So far so good. It does feel a little different leaning into a deep turn. Not bad, just different. I don't even notice it anymore. Only time, and miles will tell the final story, but I will say it was the easiest tire change I've ever done. That may be due to the NoMar mount/dismount tool I bought. BTW, it's worth every penny!
  18. Kris' recover is going great. She should be out of SICU ahead of schedule and home for Christmas, as was the plan.
  19. I ended up with the Nexen: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NCU0ILZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  20. All, Kris' surgery went well yesterday! 10 hrs. on the operating table. She is in SICU recovering and was semi awake(still loopy on sedatives) last night. Thank you all again for the support!
  21. Nice. I'm considering getting an LED system permanently installed. The kind that are programable for different seasons/holidays and can be just neutral accent lights as well.. We've never really been big on exterior decorations as our previous house was butt ugly and not on the beaten path. Now that we are in our forever home, one that has some inherent curb appeal and sees a good bit of foot and vehicular traffic, I think some effort spent in decorations would be OK. And fun!
  22. I thought it would be nice to see what everyone does for Christmas lights and decorations. My modest out door lighting: And our Christmas Tree, waiting for the kids and grand kids to finish the decorating. I can't figure out why this is posting sideways and can't seem to fix it. Oh well! Please add pictures of your decorations!
  23. So, for those that are not in the 3D printing rabbit hole, that video is time lapsed. That print was about 1 hr. nd 15 minutes. from start to finish.
  24. Printing a Christmas tree ornament in vase mode on my Ender 5 S1
