  1. Yep, only thing not working is sound system. Dash, cruise, lights, signals, and horn all work. I'm leaning towards the amp being bad. The amp is getting power.
  2. The plot thickens. I checked the audio fuse behind the lower cowling and it was good. I also tried to turn it on and it still doesn't work. There is no power getting to the controls. At this point I'm wondering if it is a bad amp maybe?
  3. Sorry, I stripped all of the fairings off the bike and took the opportunity to check everything and clean everything for the season. The fuse is good too. I'm at a loss.
  4. Hey guys. After I changed the battery my audio controls went out. No display and sound. I pulled the front fairing to check the connections and degrease them, but no joy. Any ideas?
  5. Yesterday morning i tried to go for a ride to find my battery dead. I but my charger on the battery and headed out. When i came home i put the battery back in and turned the key to see nothing happen. After that i just knew it had to be a fuse so i spent the next hour or so checking every fuse on the bike only to find out that i never plugged in my battery charger. Atleast now i know how to check all of my fuses. It wasn't as easy as i thought.
  6. I'm here in Chesapeake, between Williamsburg and Virginia Beach, and if you let me know when you're here I'll take you on a ride through the back roads to some of the best food you've ever had. Ride safe.
  7. Has anyone ordered from them lately? I placed an order and haven't heard anything.
  8. Just bought a 99 RSV with 40k on the dial for $3500. Bought another $500 to make it what I want.
  9. 1 the last bar on the fuel gauge is the reserve. So turn the petcock or the bike will die. 2 it's very easy to hit the cutoff switch with bulky winter gloves on. 3 this bike is a real handful at parking lot speeds. I was was the only non-harley in this group but wasn't lacking a thing other than the HD shield. This bike will do anything I need it to and more. Many more miles to come.
  10. This is the look I'm going for. My screen will be the flip up one advertised on this site for my height on long trips and my sissybar is slightly taller as well. Still holding onto the trunk though just in case the First Lady wants to go in the iron butt with me.
  11. Sissybar with luggage rack and hidden antenna have arrived. Trunk comes off tomorrow. Will update with pics once I get started.
  12. Thanks for the invite. The picture of me above was me waiting for the knots island ferry, not too far from you at all. I will definitely see you all there.
  13. Don't know too much about my new beast yet, but I do all of my own work and as soon as my parts get here winter breakdown and rebuild will begin.
  14. I'm pulling my trunk and am looking for a hidden antenna anyone had any success with a particular brand or placement on the bike?
