  1. Brand new still vacuum sealed ciro drink holder for sale $50.00 shipped lower 48 states. They sell for $85.00.
  2. Prayers for both of you.
  3. Just received word from my dealer that Yamaha finally approved the warranty work. Parts were ordered on Wednesday hopefully will have bike back within a few weeks or so. Total rebuild of motor and bearing replacement of the transmission.
  4. I had the cam lifter failure on my 2018 Venture back on November 19th. Took it in to the dealer on December 7th for diagnostics. I spoke to my dealer on December 20th and they were writing the estimate for the warranty work and was already at $8,000.00. They have been back and forth with Yamaha trying to get the approval for the work. Yamaha keeps giving them the run around, the dealer thinks that it will eventually will be approved but know idea when. I already have three trips planned for the year on the bike so I have been looking to see if I can come across a deal to pick-up a back-up bike. I ended up finding a good deal on a 2009 Kawasaki Voyager so I pulled the trigger. Wanted something that was fuel injected so I wouldn't have to worry about the carbs if it didn't get ran a lot. This is the only picture I currently have of the bike so I figure I would at least post one.
  5. I currently have a 2018 Venture that is in the dealership due to cam failure, luckily still under warranty. Hopefully after this repair it will last 100,000 miles or so then I will probably replace it with a Harley or Indian with fixed fairing.
  6. Sorry to hear this, Prayers to the family.
  7. If you can find a used set of Tour Deluxe cables they are two inches longer. I installed Deluxe cables on mine after installing the risers, got tired of messing with the cables to stop the throttle binding. Ron
  8. So sorry to hear that, he is definitely in our prayers. Ron
  9. 1000004098.mp4 I was tired of not being able to see out of the stock mirrors on my 2018 Venture so I made master cylinder clamps with mirror perch mounts built in and installed lighted turn signal mirrors on the bars. I then went ahead and did a mirror delete on the fairing by adding lights in place of original mirrors. Thanks to Steve for making me the wire connectors that match up to the original harness to make it all work. 1000004092.mp4
  10. I think it is part of the AIS system. Part number 22. 22 CASE, AIR CLEANER 4XY-14857-00-00 In Stock $65.99 $49.64
  11. I'm always interested if I can get the time off work. Not sure how far you are from the triple nickel, but I was considering riding out this Sunday and Monday to ride that area. Ron
  12. Just walked in the house. Between idiots, accidents and construction took 13 hours to go the 700 miles today. Had a great time looking forward to getting together again. Pictures and video to follow when I get rested up. Ron
  13. Tina and I would be interested if we can get the time off, had a great time last year. I think the extra days would be nice for those who travel from pretty far away.
  14. Did you check to see if it is just the valve core leaking? I remember a couple people thinking it was there shock that was bad and it ended up being the valve core.
  15. Sorry for your loss, it's never easy but especially when it is unexpected. Prayers for you. Ron
  16. Tina has been asking about highway pegs for her, since nobody is making aftermarket parts for the Star Venture. I decided to make my own design. She wanted her feet to be out more than forward so this is what I came up with. The floorboards still fold up out of the way when I'm riding solo.
  17. Between the rain and wanting to ride when it was nice out, I finally got a chance to get the bike cleaned up. I also decided to try my hand at hydro dipping my side covers instead of polishing them.
  18. I started to polish my side cover but decided to hydro dip them instead.
  19. I think he is talking about the couple standing behind Skid.

    Sold second gen

No just sold mine this evening, the one you saw joined a few days ago. I did give him the information to join and encouraged him to do so.
  21. Thought that I would never get rid of my 99 but after getting my 2018 third gen I only put about 1,000 miles on it last year. Setting around that much isn't good for any bike. Hope the new owner enjoys it as much as we did. Here's a video of the new owner driving it away. 20230412_173913.mp4
