  2. I make my living selling on eBay..... and I know its ins and outs better than most...... and doing so allowed me to score a mint condition rear shock for $27.00. I bought this unit hoping to learning how to open them up for rebuild. I will now pull my blown out shock off and put this nice looking unit on instead. I'll still cut my old one apart to see what's what..... if anyone knows how to open these... let me know. I have a machine shop and more tools than a man should have.

  3. On our local community forum one of the teenagers in our area wrote this: "just took my road test for the first time at Mosley's didn't even make it out of the parking lot had John as my Examiner don't know that I'm going back there he didn't even show me how to do it until I had already failed and then he treated me like I was a child like I have never drove before" PLEASE NOTE - the quotation marks in the above paragraph are mine, there were/are no punctuation marks in his post. Out of 30 responses to the OP's plea there was only 1 other response similar to mine below: "Mathew, having the examiner show you how to pass the drivers test would be like one of your teachers in school passing out the answers to a test they are required to give the classroom so the students can go on to the next grade in school. Doing so would not only be unethical and wrong to society but would also be doing a GREAT disservice to the student who is taking the test. Passing tests is something YOU earn by study/practice and personal perseverance, not something that can be given to you. Believe me, the examiner in this case probably did you a huge favor. You will find that life as an adult is going to judge you much like the examiner did but much harsher in the future."

  4. I found the best cure for bad sounding speakers is to simply leave the sound system turned off.

  5. 13.5 with the engine running is not out of norm. I would check connections first. Let the battery sit overnight and then check the voltage, it should be at 12.6 for a full battery, 12.2 is a dead battery.

  6. Nice use of space 👌 Shop was too small when I built it. Wife pointed out the other day some stuff on the shelves has been there for at least 10 years and I told her as soon as I can it I'll need it.

  7. I live 65 miles south of the KOA and would like to join everyone for a day ride or two, are there planned rides ? I didn't make reservations anywhere because we are usually in Michigan the week of the rally. Our plans got changed today and I'll be in here for the rally. Day rides are doable since I'm only an hour 15 away.

  10. Sitting here listening to my shift fighting a bad one. Doesn’t feel quite right, not being there to direct the fight and keep em safe. Guess they did it before me and will keep doing it without me.

  11. Sorry guys, looks like I can’t come up for the day as I’d hoped. Daughter needs “daddy’s” help and of course I’ll be there. Bummer, was looking forward to meeting you all. 😢
