About 12 years or so ago, the members helped purchase a bike for one of our members who fell on hard times. The bike was purchased in Missouri and then a trailer relay started. It went from Missouri to Indiana, then Indiana to Michigan at my house where I went through the bike before it was given to the member. We have done that on other occasions as well.

Finally was able to clean up the generator cover and get it painted. The two center plates for the generator cover and the clutch cover were shipped out to the platers last week. Looking forward to see how they look with some shiny chrome. I also worked on the side covers for the cylinders. Both turned out real nice. I ended up buying another wiring harness. The original one was to chopped up with a lot of wiring additions and modifications. I found a nice one that doesn't have any mods done to it. It looks like it just needs a little cleaning up and I can start putting it on. More to come later.

That I can believe from this group. Everyone I have talked to has been friendly and helpful.

I have some very tragic news. This popped up on my FB feed just now, Kevin M. Campbell (Prairie Hammer), passed away yesterday.. His knowledge of these bikes is legendary. He gave so freely of his time and expertise to help so many of us with our Venture issues. God Rest His Soul and may he rest in peace.
