I used these on my bike, Matching the LED color to the lens color.

These are significantly brighter than the stock incandescent, are no bigger than the glass bulb, and a bit less spendy. I am very happy with mine.

They also have this in a 1156 for the turn signals.

SuperbightLed has had those for awhile. I put them in the 84 and they really worked well.. 2 of them totally filled the lens. So much better than stock.

between $10 and $13 each. They fold up to get through a hole then spring out flat.

To use this spider light, you'll have to change the angle of the bulb socket, as it is pointing in a mostly upward direction.

I have had this one now, for a few weeks, and I am very happy with it. After evaluation, it is brighter than stock, instant on, and burns cool. The stock bulb is HOT. Also, this LED lights up the license plate well.

Do a search on flea bay for " 30W CREE 1157 bulb white".

I like it so much, that I am going to get amber bulbs for front turn signals, and convert my rear turn signals to run / flashers using red LED bulbs of same type. These bulbs are only around $7 bucks shipped!

Hi Wayne,

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Easter...there...now we're caught up. :sun:

Did you need to use the tail light load resistor kit when you installed these bulbs?

Did you replace both front and rear turn signals?

Thomas

The angle of the dangle is pretty much what did me in on LED tail lights. The 2nd gen is as mentioned pretty much pointing up. So something like the CREE bulb I wouldnt think would work particularly well. I had some of the LED tail bulbs with LED's all the way around and still was not very noticeable.
