Most likely is a stuck needle valve or debris in between the needle and the seat that is not allowing the float to close the valve fully. Some times a dose of Seafoam and a good spirited run will clear that up if it is minor. If a dose of Seafoam or carb cleaner does not fix it, you probably in for a carb overhaul. I am pretty sure the are posts in the tech library to help with this issue.

I have gas dripping from a tube behind the front left fairing. It's coming from what looks like a feed line for the carburetors. Anyone know what's causing this and how to fix it?

Just joined the crew here. I got a killer deal on a 2000 MM Limited RSV. So far I love the bike. I may have a few issues with the carbs, but overall it's running great for a 24 year old bike. I wanted loud pipes, so I picked up the Sharkroad pipes and brackets. The install was super easy, except the damn clamps. Sharkroad expects you to re-use your clamps. I found that mine were actually tack welded to the factory exhaust. This led to me using a chisel to break them free and making a mess of my stock pipes. I've ordered a set of 1.75% band clamps to replace the factory ones. They should be here tomorrow. Just sharing my experience!
