Default Replacement Antenna

In a brilliant move while uncovering the Venture I snagged the cover and broke the antenna, the one with the black plastic piece in the middle. I broke it off at the top of the black piece. I thought this was the CB antenna. I took it off and went ridding and found that my FM radio reception was very poor. So was this the Radio antenna? I have looked back over a couple of post but still am confussed, I would like to replace both antennas with one is there a post that explains how to do this and is this a complicated process? What is the best antenna to use? Thanks for any help!

If you want to increase your performance I would recommend doing the Marshall mod. The link below explains it all and hundreds of them have been done, I love mine.

Looks like someone got the antennas mixed up. I would do the Marshal Mod, or go to a local CB dealer\fixer, and get something that will work well and look good.

The antenna with the black center piece is the CB antenna. It should be mounted on your left. They have been mixed up by the dealers on occasion. If it is broken, throw it away. Find a replacement or look into the Marshal Mod.....
