MikeWa Posted October 20, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2014 My 2010 Venture came to me with Show Chrome heated grips. The grips are ok but they were missing the end weights on the handlebar. So before I go cutting the ends off my heated grips to reinstall the end weights I thought I would ask "has anyone done this before?" I have a set of weights minus the small plastic caps which I will get if this works. I also believe the handlebars are stock. So does anybody know if I am likely to run into any problems? marcsmith Posted October 25, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) Don't know how yours are set up but I ended up having to remove the threads for the end weights to Install my heated grips. They were inserts that I had to put inside the bar heat demons was the brand. I got some end weights for the Iso grips and installed them.
