He was no lap dog!

After almost 14 years we had to put down our cairn terrier on 9/11.

Bernie didn’t want hugs and kisses, just a belly or back rub would do, we joked he that he had rigor mortis when picked up he was so stiff except for the day we brought him home.

Bernie was my garage buddy protecting all my man stuff and he accompanied me to our cottage we are rebuilding to make sure the job was well done.

Bernie buddy, this beer’s for you! RIP

It sure sounds like Bernie had a good life and you were able to share it with him. Sorry for your loss.

They can be like children. Sounds like he had plenty of love, and a good life. RIP, Buddy.

I know your pain with having to do that. 3 years ago, we had to put one of our dogs down, then 3 months later, we had to put our other dog down. It is an extremely hard thing to do, and hurt very much. I swore that i would never get another dog, but my daughter talked me into it, and I am so glad she did. Time, and this new little dog helped heal the wounds from losing the others.
