Ride for Dad, 10th Anniversary ...HELP NEEDED
Hi folks,
Please visit this page to learn more about this great cause.
Proceeds to "MILITARY FAMILIES AND OUR FIGHT AGAINST PROSTATE CANCER"
I'm sure many of you would like to help out families of those in the military...as well as fight prostate cancer.
http://www.ridefordadanniversary.org/en/
On a more selfish note....the ride organisers ask for a minimum $100 contribution to be able to join in on the ride.
SO I HAVE TO RAISE $100 to take part...but just a few dollars from a few would help me get there!
I think it would be a GREAT experience to ride with so many bikes!
The National Capital leg will be on Aug 10, 11
Here is a link to the Ride for Dad website where you can help me to raise the $100 minimum. They accept credit card payments.
http://my.e2rm.com/personalPage.aspx...ationID=923981
If someone wanted to pay me via paypal, I will then do the credit card payment but I"m not sure how the tax receipt would work because it is automatically sent to the credit card payer.
Anyway....I would really appreciate any help you can give to support this great cause and allow me to ride along with this group!

Reason: to be sure you know even a small amount helps!

THANKS...thats a start!
I figure if a bunch of folks can do a little bit each then I'll get the minimum needed to ride along and it won't hurt anyone too much.
I know there are a lot of directions for money to go these days....but this is a great cause too!
I'd pay the whole shot myself if I could afford it!

Send me a PM or post your PayPal address. I'll PayPal $20.00 to you. Good luck.
Don't worry about a receipt. Just ride safe.

The ride for dad takes place all across Canada in June 2012. I have been on several. The entry fee is usually about $25.00. For every $100 you donate you get a chance at a trip to Vegas. I don't know of any military connection. I believe they have raised $9 million for prostate cancer research. I was on the first ride in Victoria. I had been diagnosed with a virulent type of cancer and the prognoses was 24 months to live. Thanks to great treatment and catching it early I am still here a few years later. I will be on the next ride.

I do this ride every year as well. The club I ride with (Southern Cruisers) always has a great showing for the Peel ride here in Brampton of 30+ riders.

Our ride in Windsor is May 27th, last year we had about 1200 bikes, hoping for more this year. I've been doing this ride since 07, seeing that I am now 2yrs past surgery and feeling good, PSA tests are showing zero so I hope that it stays that way.
Thank you to all the guys that ride for a very worthy cause.
