2nd Gen Passenger Arm rests
Arm rests for the 2nd Gen RSV passengers. The arm rests will allow pillion riders to feel secure riding the bike. In use they flip upward allowing the passenger to mount or dismount the bike with ease. I designed this style mainly for trikers but other riders/passengers can benefit as well, since they do not swing outward as most arm rests do.
Construction is gloss black powder coated steel, bolts & screws are stainless steel, except for the luggage rack bolt which replaces the stock flanged bolt. The pads are black vinyl with a upholstery cloth top for comfort.
Cost is $250 which includes shipping in the US. Canadian orders will be an additional $20 to cover added shipping fees.
Payment can be made thru PayPal (prefered) using lskees@wowway.com to transfer the funds into my account there. To pay with a money order contact me here thru VR's PM or use the above e-mail addy.
Thanks, Larry
PS: The cup holder is a Kruzer Kaddy cup holder & does not come with the arm rest sets.
Special requests such as height requirements can be done on special order.

Currently I am out of the arm rests but will make another run of them soon. If interested let me know and I'll put your name down on a list. This will allow me to do plan on how many in a run I need to build without tying up funds, resources, & time if I do too many at once.
Thanks, Larry

Hey Larry, Put my name on the list for the next batch that you make. I was going to call you this afternoon to discuss them. But Phil saw your posting that you have sold the ones that you already had made up. I will PM you with my contact information.
Thanks!
Diane

I picked up a set of the armrests from Larry a couple weeks ago and the girlfriend really likes them (nuff said about whether I'm happy with them). I'll post pics shortly.

Could you possibly send me more details about how these are mounted? I'm desperately trying to find a set of arm rests as we just bought the bike and I really miss my arm rests. These are great looking and would definitely fit the bill.
More details about the mounting of them, please, and when I could get some would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Larry, I was wondering if it would be any problem lowering the arm rest
wife loves the DimondR rest but I had to lower them by 2 " myself
(cut and re-weld them)
as she felt that they sat up way to high. liking your idea as well tho.
you always come up with great products. thanks
Jeff

I'm currently in the process of building 5 sets of arm rests, of which 2 are spoken for. Hoping to turn at least two or more sets of them over to my powder coater this week, then as a rule it'll take up to a week to get them back depending on how busy they are. Sometimes if they're coating something else in the same color they'll put my stuff in right away.
There's two attachment points with this design, one is at the luggage rack bolt where the grab handle attaches and the 2nd is with a hole drill thru both the arm rest support and the grab handle itself. It's quite sturdy since there's a three way triangulation with the grab handle bolts & the bolt thru the arm rest support & grab handle.
Hope this helps you. If not keep asking.
Larry

Hi Jeff.
Sure I could make up a set with any specifics required as to height. I went thru that process a bit when I did the first couple I made for the wife, eventually settling on the height I now use . Of course we all know what works for one person may be to tall or short for another.
Since I'm building up sets now I could easily make a set to your (or anyone elses for that matter) height requirements. The easiest way I think to do that would be to give me a measurement from the top of the pillion seat to the top of the arm rest pad. Having that dimension I could then raise or lower the mounting point of my arm rest attachment.
For comparison my arm rest pads are 9" from the top of the pad to the top of the pilion seat. I have a Midnight seat so a pillow top seat will most likely be slightly different. But this will give you something to compare to with what you're currently using.
Larry
