Yamaha tinted adjustable lower replacements

Where can I replacement tinted plexiglass for the Yamaha adjustable vents that bolt to the crashbar on second gens.

These were aftermarket vents sold through the Yamaha web site. I do not know if they are still available you will have to search for them I suspect.

I think the part number for the 'lower wind vents' was STR-1D608-80-00 but my memory is fallible.

I have the vents just looking for replacement tinted plexiglass part, mine is scuffed.

I don't think I've ever seen replacement plexiglass for them. You would think it would have been available and maybe it was but if so, I sure never ran across them.

I have heard that some folks with similar issues, painted their lowers, had pretty good results as I recall.

@BuddyRich was making replacements in a dark tint to match his lower cowling deflectors but that was quite a few years ago. I don't know if he is still into that or not. I could use a new set too.
