1st gen 2nd generation wheel compatibility

Hi folks my question is 18" front wheel conversation on a 1999 on wards venture I've heard of putting an roadliner /stratoliner front wheel on , but would the 1st gen venture wheel or wheel's fit easily enough? Has anyone done this? my thoughts are cost and that the larger wheels would improve the quality of the rides on poorer road surfaces I look forward to seeing the feedback cheers Dan

Roadliner Roadstar are bolt on wheels. But I couldn't tell that much difference. The 130/90x16 on the front helped just as much. If you've ever ridden the first gen, or even the third gen, the handling of the second gen sucks. Not much if anything you can do to fix it.
