Jcgfree Posted November 15, 2016 Share #4 Posted November 15, 2016 Nice video. Did you know that you can take the rear end of a VMax and put it on a Royal Star Venture? Talked with a Yamaha mechanic in Tennessee who said he and other mechanics who went to a Yamaha class for updates were looking at it and said it looked like it could be done. So they did it. Freebird Posted November 15, 2016 Share #5 Posted November 15, 2016 A number of us here have done that. It is not a direct swap. The RSV has a place for the speedo sensor to fit. The VMax does not. You either have to drill a hole and machine a flat spot on the VMax rear or install the VMax gears into a RSV housing. Many of us do like it though.
