SpencerPJ Posted June 2, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2016 Been thinking about Buying a 2005 - 2010 Goldwing. The truth is, I will use it as a daily cruiser way more than a long ride hwy bike. Just throwing this out for suggestions, what do these beasts look like when you strip the trunk and passenger back rest off. I really like the look of the F6B machines. Is what I'm looking for feasible?
Eck Posted June 8, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 8, 2016 @SpencerPJ Yes, it can be done... Remove trunk and antenna(s), and a little finesse and here is what you can have ( see attached pic). Also, if you search Google for: GL1800 with the trunk removed., you will see several links to other sites that address your question in more detail. SpencerPJ Posted June 9, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) Very Nice. I found one place that sells covers for the hole. Edited June 12, 2016 by SpencerPJ
djh3 Posted June 9, 2016 Share #4 Posted June 9, 2016 For a solo touring bike I think it would be a heck of an option. When the F6b came out one of my questions was why make a touring bike with out cruise? I just thought that was odd, being the platform they started with. At least have it as an option.
