yesterday while riding in cool weather ( what the hell the bike would not know) but I found riding in cooler temps, the bike, seemed to loose a little power off the starts in first and second gears, do you think bad gas? and I also had the tank down to a quarter, at the time, I filled up, and the issue went away.

It could have been a gas issue.

Most internal combustion engines will make more power in cold because the air is denser, It is almost like super charging it.

But then on the other hand, everything else needs more HP to work in the cold. The grease in the wheel bearings gets stiffer and takes more power to turn the wheels etc, this adds up from every moving part on the bike. The net result is usually it feels like there is less power.

You are in Florida. What do you call cool weather? Anything above freezing is not even down to cool and should have no effect at all on how the bike runs.......:snow2:

I don't think my bike has a 6.6 gallon tank, I rode it down to zero gas today ( I did 192.6 miles) on a tank pulling a loaded trailer, bike only took 5.9 gallons

yep a 6.6 tank (32.6) mpg 6.6 (215.9) to run it dry
